Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar gave Abbie the parental seal of approval but writing on their blog: John David brings our hearts so much joy, and we've watched him faithfully pray, wait, and trust God for the right girl to come along! Now, a beautiful relationship has blossomed between the two of them. We can't wait to see what the Lord will do in the future."

5. Breaking the rules

Abbie and John have broken other Duggar family rules by also having a shared Instagram account before they are married. The couple also went shopping at Walmart without a chaperone, breaking the Duggar rule that forbids a Duggar kid from going on a date without someone else with them. And then the anti-Duggar Facebook group Duggar Family News: Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray broke the news that John was spotted grabbing Abbie's butt. Typically, Duggars aren't allowed to even give full frontal hugs.

7. When is the wedding?

According to Duggar Family News, Abbie and John David are getting married on November 3, 2018. Reportedly, the wedding is not going to be in Arkansas, where the Duggar clan lives. Perhaps it will be in Abbie's hometown in Oklahoma.

8. Where will they live?

John David and Abbie haven't mentioned where they intend to live after they get married. Only one member of the Duggar family lives outside of Arkansas. The couple could settle in Oklahoma, where Abbie works as a nurse. Or, the couple could settle in Arkansas where Abbie could get a new nursing job and John David could continue being a pilot, running his own business, and working as a first responder.
