Multiple songs reveal that he cheated on her and the aftermath of his infidelity, but who is “Becky”? Right after the release, many fans thought Becky could be Rachel Roy, Rita Ora, or just a generalization of white women. Both women have denied the allegations but the rumors that Jay Z had an affair with Roy may have prompted his infamous fight with Solange Knowles in the elevator at the Met Gala.

But we may have confirmation that Becky is an actress we all know too well. Is Gwyneth Paltrow “Becky with the good hair”? Amber Rose certainly thinks so.

Rose recently appeared on Spencer and Heidi Pratt’s podcast, Make Speidi Famous Again, and claimed that “Sorry” was written about Paltrow. “I definitely think that Gwyneth Paltrow is ‘Becky with the good hair.’ I really feel like she’s the one who was, like, f***ing Jay-Z.”

She also pointed out that “Sorry” was released right as Paltrow and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, filed for divorce. “They were like friends, and then, like, you don’t see Gwyneth Paltrow with Beyoncé anymore. But like, Beyoncé’s still with Jay,” Rose added.

Woah! Those are huge allegations. And if true, could prompt a revolt from the Beyhive. It would be especially devastating, since Jay-Z and Paltrow have had a public friendship, though the two haven’t been seen together in public since the release of Lemonade.

But after the podcast aired, Paltrow addressed the rumors. The allegations are “completely absurd and 100 percent false,” a rep for Paltrow responded. Amber Rose also spoke out, probably not realizing how big of an effect her words would have!
