Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles yesterday after she overdosed at her home in the Hollywood Hills. When the paramedics arrived, the singer and actress was unconscious. The 25-year-old has spoken often about her struggles with drug addiction and bipolar disorder over the years. 1. She is stable.

Demi's rep release a statement to Entertainment Tonight saying, "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now. 

2. Her aunt's Facebook post

Demi's aunt Kerissa Webb Dunn posted on her Facebook page a plea for Demi to pull through. The post was either deleted or made private soon after it was posted. It said: "PLEASE PLEASE pray for my sweet niece DEMI LOVATO. She has been hospitalized and needs everyone's prayers desperately!!!! PLEASE PRAY she pulls through."

3. Was it heroin?

TMZ initially reported that it was a heroin overdose, then changed that to an apparent heroin overdose. The site is now saying it was not a heroin overdose. A former writer for TMZ posted on Twitter that sources close to Demi were saying that it was not a heroin overdose.

4. She was treated for an opioid OD

Sources are saying that the paramedics who arrived on the scene at her Los Angeles home treated her with Narcan, a substance used in emergency opioid overdoses.

5. She fell off the wagon last month

Last month, Lovato revealed that she'd fallen off the wagon after six years of sobriety when she released the song 'Sober'. In the song, the 25-year-old sings, “To the ones who never left me. We’ve been down this road before. I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore.” Later in the song, she sings, “I wanna be a role model. But I’m only human…I’m sorry that I’m here again. I promise I’ll get help. It wasn’t my intention. I’m sorry to myself.”

6. All night party?

TMZ is reporting that Lovato was found unconscious at her home just before noon on Tuesday. She had been at the Saddle Ranch restaurant the night before celebrating one of her backup dancer's birthdays and then reportedly hosted an all night party at her home. When first responders arrived, there appeared to be no one else in the house.

7. Shows canceled

Demi was scheduled to perform back-to-back shows in Atlantic City this weekend as a part of their beach concert series. Live Nation confirmed that her performances had been canceled.
