Find out what zodiac signs are and aren't great for fatherhood.

Fatherhood is a gift that so many men have been able to experience.
Once a father, you have to be selfless and step up to the plate. Loving memories and milestones, like the birth of your child, walking your daughter down the aisle and participating in cheering in the stands at games will last forever.
Children need to know that their parent is going to be there, that their needs will be met and that their parents will cater to their needs. I am very fortunate to have a father in my life that has been supportive in everything that I do and has taught me right from wrong.
My father never lets me down and tried his best to shield me from the wrong that the world presented and shed a light on the positive aspects of the world as well. Yes, fathers can be overprotective and lame, but they are there and you can't unfortunately ship them off and turn them away. Fatherhood is a big responsibility and you have to be prepared to pay the price with your time and resources.
Many people are fortunate to have fathers like my own, but so many people aren't. Father figures come in different forms and don't have to be blood-related. Many fathers come in the form of mentors like teachers coaches a close friend and even a foster parent.
It's not certain for sure who will be a great father and who won't. Sometimes its the luck of the draw and sometimes its just meant to be. Some zodiacs have traits that are great for fatherhood and some are not.
Many zodiac signs have traits of compassion, and understanding, and some zodiac signs have traits that are the opposite. Using astrology, find out the good, the bad and the ugly about which horoscopes will be great fathers and zodiac signs that won't be great fathers.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries isn't capable of a paternal instinct. Always in competition and need to be first in everything doesn't show that paternal instincts are present. Being selfless is the main goal of parenting. If Aries cant think about others and is determined to be selfish, is dating an Aries worth it in the long run?
2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis have a reputation for being indecisive and inconsistent. Children need consistency to learn and grow and be on the right path. With the traits of being spotty, Geminis are most likely not a good role model for kids, and will not be the best to exemplify behavior.
3. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Tauruses will show their stubborn nature and will be unwilling to comprise with their children. Letting your children make mistakes will teach them how to learn and grow. Taking on a stubborn attitude and not compromising will make parenting and building a relationship with the children hard. Broken relationships with children can lead to not so smooth sailing down the road.
4. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos have the downside, unfortunately, to be arrogant and lazy. Passing on traits of being arrogant to children can lead to problems in the future with relations and careers. Arrogance can also lead to children being neglected and craving attention elsewhere.
Dads are people who instill in their children to care for others more than their selves. Laziness can also impede a child by making them not pursue goals and act entitled. Leos being a father will be difficult, but beware that they have these traits and shedding them won't be easy.
5. VIRGOS (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are the poster child for great parenting. They have the traits of being loyal, kind and hardworking. Having these traits are essential for a child growing up in the world today, where these traits are not practiced near enough. Virgos have traits that parents need to succeed to develop healthy and happy kids and adults in the future.
6. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittariuses are giving and selfless they are idealistic and think in a sensible frame of mind. Sagittarius' will come to a reasonable solution and try to find a way to compromise with kids rather than block them out or not listen to them. problem-solving skills and listening skills benefit Sagittarius's because they can better communicate and have lasting relationships.
7. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are good at managing their time and their relationships. They are responsible and know the difference between right and wrong. Parenting is a breeze for Capricorns because they are stable and can manage their affairs and can make quick decisions that are beneficial and not detrimental to a child. Parenting isn't easy but there is light at the end of the tunnel for Capricorn Parents.
8. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces is loving, gentle and has an artistic nature. Having a sympathetic and worldly view is great when bringing up a child. Exposure to the arts and different cultures will make the child see that there is more to life than your own backyard. Pisces loving attitude is essential for children emotional growth and development. Dating a Pisces is most lately a sure bet for a great loving father!
9. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
With Libras cooperative nature and social attributes, parenting will be a breeze. Cooperative ideals are essential in any job market and any situation in general. Libras' fair-minded and gracious attitude will teach children how to be unbiased and look at the world in a different perspective that isn't one minded. Libras well-rounded attributes are a good example for children to pass on to their children in the future.
10. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers show loyalty and show their emotions on their sleeve. Children need a parent who will cater to their physical and emotional needs. Loyalty is also key to a Cancer nature and children need a parent who is loyal and will stick up for them through thick and thin. Having a stable line of trust with catering to emotional needs makes Cancers a perfect candidate for parenting and being a father figure.
11. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 22)
Scorpios are known to be vengeful and full of spite. they can be fine one minute and be awful the next minute. these attributes are not becoming in children and will not be praised down the road if your child learns these attributes from his/her father. Having the ability to stay constant with emotions is key through getting through tough situations. Will a Scorpio be able to step up to the plate?
12. AQUARIUS (January 21 - February 18)
Aquarius wants to make the world a better place and wants to pass that on to their children. they lead by example and want their children to treat others the way they want to be treated. Fathers should look at Aquarius and be super proud.
