Yes. David was Kate's brother-in-law. He is Kate Spade's husband Andy's brother.

2. David's best known for Saturday Night Live.
While Kate is best known for her fashionable and iconic handbags, her brother-in-law is a comedian and actor best known for his work on Saturday Night Live in the 1990s, the sitcom Just Shoot Me, as well as his work in films including Tommy Boy and Joe Dirt.
