It seems like Elon Musk is officially off the market —again.

The CEO of Tesla's relationship history reads a lot like that of a young adult romance novel. He married his first wife, Justine Wilson, in 2000, and they stayed together until separating in 2008. They share five sons together, which they had through in vitro fertilization after their first son died of sudden infant death syndrome.

Soon after their divorce, Musk began his on-and-off relationship with English actress Talulah Riley. They married in 2010, got divorced in 2012 and then married again in 2013.

They split for good in 2016.

Shortly after his second divorce in 2016, he began dating actress Amber Heard, until a year later when they split up due to conflicting schedules. So who is Elon Musk's new girlfriend?

The CEO of Tesla stepped out with musician Grimes at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday, May 7 in New York City. Though this was their first official outing as a couple, rumors about the two secretly being together have been circling around the Twitter-sphere recently.

It all started when Musk, 46, praised the 30-year-old's music on Twitter.

“Likewise …was just listening to Go Flex & Psycho on @Grimezsz playlist,” he wrote on April 25.

“glad ur finally listening to cyberpunk speedwae hahaha,” Grimes replied, whose full name is Claire Elise Boucher.

On April 27, a fan tweeted out to Musk "just ask her out already," and he responded with a simple, and very telling winky face.

A source claimed that Grimes and Musk had been dating for about a month. According to Page Six, they met online after she made a joke three years ago about robots on Twitter that he himself had planned to make.

"Elon was researching the idea of joking about Rococo Basilisk, and when he saw Grimes had already joked about it, he reached out to her,” says the insider. “Grimes said this was the first time in three years that anyone understood the joke. They were both poking fun at AI.”

Their online banter continued up till the Met Gala when Musk tweeted the phrase" Rococo basilisk" and then followed it with a link to the Wikipedia page, hinting he would be taking Grimes as his date.

The Canadian musician rose to fame in 2012 with her third studio album "Visions." She recently had some unknown drama go down with her label, 4AD.

"There’s some srsly f–ked up and crazy s–t going behind the scenes in my career,” she wrote on Instagram. “I just took a month off, a lot of insane s–t went down and I’m reorienting my life. I have a deep well of s–t this time, like sooo many songs so after my album I’ll be able to consistently release new music.”

Though they stepped out together, neither has commented on their relationship.
