While Cardi B keeps releasing new music, we can all appreciate her rise to the top. Once an exotic dancer, the rapper rose to fame on social media with her witty, off-hand commentary. Her social media persona eventually landed her a role on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York in 2015.

Since then, she has garnered attention for her hit single “Bodak Yellow,” which had the number 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, becoming the second female rapper (behind Lauryn Hill) to achieve the milestone!

But apparently, not everyone can appreciate Cardi B’s hustle, because fellow female rapper and Instagram model Kash Doll had some words to say about her single, “She Bad.”

But who is Kash Doll — and what’s up with her beef with Cardi B?

It turns out, it’s all over a verse that had been promised to Kash Doll by YG, which he scrapped and gave to Cardi B. Kash Doll had posted a deleted verse from the original song, which caused an uproar amongst both her fans and Cardi B’s. She later assured her fans that there was no beef between the two, and it was simply a remix.

After posting the deleted verse, Kash Doll said that YG had originally approached her to be on the track, but didn’t hear it again until it appeared on none other than Cardi B’s debut album.

Now, this stuff happens all the time in the music industry, but YG apparently didn’t have the grace to let Kash Doll know her voice wouldn’t be used.

Kash Doll said she was forced to upload the remix on Audiomack after it was blocked from SoundCloud. She said she wasn’t bothered by her exclusion, but by the fact that she couldn’t share the original track on SoundCloud. “They blocked it so I can’t put it up. That’s what happened,” she said.

And what does Cardi B have to say about all this? Well, for one, she’s sick of the drama and took to Twitter to voice her frustration.

“Is like Cardi B VS the World ... everybody got a story to say about me Cardi this Cardi That all of a sudden when a b*** good .Where was all this stories and bull**** at when i was on LHH or just IG famous making videos .Im telling ya when you up people try they best to put you down,” she wrote.

“And i never have to play victim i alway been a Gangsta I’m just sick and tired of people saying some s*** about me,” she continued. “Where was all these problems and all this bull*** at when cardi was doing mixtapes and couldn’t get on the radio ?where ?where? Now Cardi this Cardi That? GTFO .”

This isn’t the first time a man has come between two powerful women, and it certainly won’t be the last.

To add more feul to the fire, Kash Doll and her boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine, unfollowed Cardi B on social media, and the rapper did the same to them. Fontaine also happens to be one of Cardi B's songwriters.

However, Kash Doll has finally spoken out and revealed that the feud is definitely over.

In January 2020, the rapper told her Twitter followers that, "I'm not beefing with no one."

And in November 2019, Kash Doll and Cardi B reportedly partied together, which seemed to be an obvious sign that the two rappers were no longer feuding.
