Johnson's name has become a household name over the years, but as you may or may not know, this wasn’t always the case. As a matter of fact Dwayne had a few run ins with the law as a teenager, fast forward to 2016 he made the list of top 100 most influential people in the world.

Johnson was born May 2, 1972 in Hayward, California. He was born into a wrestling family, with both his father and grandfather being former professional wrestlers. However, "The Rock" had no intentions on following in their footsteps, so he pursued football, and played in college at the University of Miami.

His college football career was short-lived due to injuries, which is what led him to professional wrestling. During his career, Johnson pursued acting as well, which he succeeded in, scoring hit movies such as The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King and The Game Plan, just to name a few.

Johnson still occasionally goes back to wrestling and does movies as he just scored a few more blockbusters in Jumanji, Rampage and is one of the protagonists in the hit Fast and Furious series. Outside of that, "The Rock" has found success in something he does when he’s not on camera, weight training.

He went from being a typical well-built wrestler in the WWE, to being a guy who you would allow to hit on your woman right in front of your face because you know you couldn’t do anything about it.

It seems like ever since Johnson pumped himself up to this level of buff he’s gained a lot more followers not only on Instagram (where he has 105 million now) but also in life.
