Instagram Is Britney Spears pregnant? The rumor mill is on fire today with the news that a certain very famous singer is pregnant. This singer is apparently about three months along, so she's not going to be keep it a secret forever. This woman also has some shows lined up for this summer. We're thinking it might be Britney Spears!
Back in December, she admitted she had been taking prenatal vitamins. Her Las Vegas residency wrapped up at the end of 2017 and she's super- cozy with her 24-year-old model boyfriend Sam Ashgari! In a Radar Online interview, the 'Pieces of Me' singer admitted she'd love to have a daughter. So is she or isn't she expecting baby number 3? Let's investigate...
1. She's in amazing shape with no belly bulge.
Britney has been getting into incredible shape in preparation for her "Pieces of Me" tour and in the Instagram video below there isn't a sign of a baby bump. But let's be honest: when someone is as fit as Brit, it may take longer to show and also, we don't know when this video was actually recorded. She could have made it a month or so ago and just decided to post it now to fend off pregnancy rumors.
2. She's been vocal about wanting to have a daughter.
Spears hasn't been exactly keeping her desire to be a mama one more time under wraps. Women like Khloe Kardashian have reportedly been inspiring Spears because she had a baby with a much younger man. She's also always wanted a daughter and at 36, may feel like time is running out. Her sons, Sean and Jayden, are 12 and 11-years-old, respectively.
3. She survived 2007-2008 and learned to thrive again.
It's been a long time since the shaved head umbrella attacking Britney of 2007. There's a meme that's been floating around for years. It says "If Britney Spears Made It Through 2007, We Can Make It Through This Day."
If you recall back in late 2007, Britney was struggling personally and professionally. She was constantly hounded by the paparazzi. She had been famous for more than a decade. She was a young mom. She was barely 26. She was in a fierce custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. She lost custody of her sons after a judge found she was a "habitual, frequent, and continuous user of controlled substances and alcohol."
She basically lost her mind for awhile. You'd never know it now, but back then people thought that was the end. The Pop Princess had fallen and she would never get back up. Britney surprised everyone by staging a major comeback and now she's better than ever.
4. She made a ton of cash in Las Vegas and on X Factor.
In 2013, Britney signed a $30 million contract for a residency show in at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Under the terms of the deal, she would perform 100 shows over two years. She renewed the contract for her "Piece of Me" show to run through 2017.
Her four-year Las Vegas residency resurrected Britney's career, bank accounts, and reputation. She performed 250 shows during the run at Planet Hollywood. In 2012, Spears was hired as a judge on The X Factor. With a salary of $15 million, she was the highest-paid judge on a singing competition series in television history at the time.
5. She's taking her Las Vegas 'Pieces of Me' show on the road.
Britney is taking her very successful Las Vegas show 'Pieces of Me' on the road in North America, the UK, and Europe. The Pieces of Me tour kicks off in Washington D.C. on July 12. Britney will play 28 shows on her tour, which wraps up in Austin, Texas on October 21st.
If Britney is pregnant, surely some changes will come to her 'Pieces of Me; tour. From skimpy costumes to her energetic dance routines, a pregnant Britney would likely have to tone it down a bit. Or she could take a cue from Beyonce and rock her baby bump on stage from coast to coast. If we know Britney — and we pretend we do — we're betting she'd rock her baby bump proudly as she bumps and grinds across North American and European stages.
6. She has a new Las Vegas residency coming up ... in 2019.
There are reports Britney will be returning to Las Vegas for a new residency at the Monte Carlo's Park Theatre. Her new show will launch shortly after Lady Gaga finishes up her residency there. This would give Britney plenty of time to have her baby and get back in shape. Reportedly, the mom of two likes being in one place and the quality of time she gets to spend with her sons.
7. She'd be an amazing mom ... again.
Britney's train wreck years were a lifetime ago. Now 36, she has her personal and professional life back on track. She shares custody of her sons with Kevin Federline. It's time to re-do that famous meme. It should read: "It's Britney, B*TCH." We never should have doubted her. It would be wonderful to see Britney have the baby girl she desires, wouldn't it?
