Sometimes you think you've met your soulmate and that the friendship you share is destined for something more than friends.
But there are times when you have to check the signals that a man is giving off to you so you can see if he feels the same way. You can check astrology and his horoscope to find out.
There are times when he doesn't, and you're just better off as friends. Here's one way to explain it. If you're a rom-com fan, you might remember two films: Hitch, What Happens in Vegas, or maybe it’s Just Friends or The Proposal.
As great as those films are, would you like to know something all those movies have in common though? They all couldn’t be further away from reality. Sorry to burst your bubble because I’m a hopeless romantic myself, but just think about it.
What are the chances you meet your zodiac sign's soul mate by making up a big lie about your occupation (that you’re a dating coach), them finding out and then giving you another chance after feeling like they’ve been swindled?
What are the chances you meet your soul mate by faking a marriage with your assistant at work (whom you despise) just to avoid being deported out of your country, whom you then you end up falling in love with?
The answer to those questions is slim. With that being said there are multiple reasons things don’t go down like this is in real life and people end up being friendzoned. People don’t try as hard to make it work, people aren’t as romantic as movies make it seem like and not all of us have the best judgment with picking who we want to try and make it work with (just to name a few reasons).
The sad thing about the latter reason is that people often show us in one way or another that they’re not meant for us and belong in the friendzone area, it just takes paying attention to, with a dose of realism and sometimes a look at their zodiac sign.
As a guy, one thing I would like to point out to some of the ladies is how we usually show you that we’re probably better off as being friends, according to our zodiac sign and astrology.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are known for being headstrong, meaning they exemplify supreme confidence. As I’m sure you know most women love confidence in a man, so that aspect of them will probably win you over early on. However, if too much confidence is the type of thing that typically turns you off then an Aries man is definitely not the one for you.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
A Taurus man is the exemplary boyfriend. I’m not just saying that because I’m a Taurus either, it’s actually true. After being with a Taurus for just a little while you’ll be able to pick up on the fact that we’re dependable, romantic, loyal and patient. We’re also very strong men who take trust as a super important aspect of the relationship. With that being said it’s something that has to be earned on both sides of the relationship. So if you take trust very seriously and are looking for stability then a Taurus man is the one for you.
Like any zodiac sign, we have our flaws as well. Our main flaw that you’ve probably heard of when it comes to Taurus’ is our stubbornness. So if you’re the type of woman that has to be in control and in the driver seat most of the time then this will not work out well.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini men are known for being really affectionate loving men who live life on the edge because they enjoy the thrill of living that way. However, that’s the downside. Because he’s so into the thrill of doing things on the fly and living adventurously he gets bored easily. Therefore relationships and stability may not be his forte.
4. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer men are known for a few things: being loyal, in tune with your wants and needs. However, there are two things you must know. They go all in when with someone. Therefore if you’re the type of person to easily feel suffocated with affection, then a Cancer man isn’t the one for you.
The second thing you must know is that they’re known for showing love in their own way sometimes. So if you need someone who is traditional in a relationship then a Cancer man probably isn’t for you.
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo men are known for being passionate warm-hearted guys that mean well. However, good intentions don’t always erase flaws, and Leos have some potent ones. One of their main flaws is overprotectiveness.
In a relationship, they have the tendency to very much be the jealous type so they will act accordingly. They also are the type of person who has to get the last word in an argument, which is a sign of immaturity. So if you’re not an argumentative person a Cancer definitely is not your type of man.
6. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
A Virgo man is known for being very loyal and caring. They’re pretty much the “Jack” in Titanic. Now if you’re a hopeless romantic, this is great. If you’re on the fence about romantic and lovey-dovey stuff then you probably shouldn't date a Virgo.
7. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
A Libra man is known for being very even-tempered. They won’t start arguments and if they do it would have taken a lot for them to get to that point. On that same token though they can be very passive, which often rubs people the wrong way. They’re also known as one of the lesser adventurous signs. With that being said if you need a bold and/or spontaneous man a Libra isn’t for you.
8. SCORPIO (October 23-November 21)
Scorpio men are known for being very passionate about everything they care about. There is no half-a**ing anything for them. Their emotions are always heightened. However, the downside of that is that one of the emotions that they are known for is jealousy.
Needless to say, if they’re jealous, to call them the “jealous type” would be an understatement. They, like the Taurus, are also super stubborn. So if you don’t mind intense emotions at all times then you would go well with a Scorpio. If not, then not so much.
9. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius men are adrenaline junkies. They exemplify the word adventurously and need a partner who’s just as adventurous and optimistic. He’ll always view the glass as half-full so if you’re the type to view it as half empty it may be a vibe killer for him; if so he’ll probably tell you about it too because they’re known for being blunt.
10. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn men are the type to go all in for someone they love. They’re very patient and take their time very seriously when it comes to whom they spend it with. However, they’re also very set in their ways (aka stubbornness), therefore if you’re not down with adjusting to his lifestyle that may be a deal breaker for him. So if he is difficult when it comes to compromising when it comes to mixing the way he lives his life vs. how you live yours then a Capricorn man may not be for you.
11. AQUARIUS (January 20-February 18)
Aquarius are very loving, caring, sociable men who are excellent communicators. However, they are the type of people who need to be hip-to-hip with their friends and people they associate with on a regular basis. If you find this type of thing annoying and prefer more intimate moments then an Aquarius is probably not for you.
12. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces men are very loving, romantic, passionate and loyal guys who make for excellent boyfriends. However, they perfectly fit the “nice guy” stereotype. You’ll have to make the first move because they’re the shy type and are very introverted. If you’re an extrovert who can’t get with an introvert then a Pisces man definitely isn’t for you.
