Photos Reveal Prince William's New Buzzed Hair Style As He Embraces The Bald Look

If anyone has stuck to their "new year, new me" attitude for 2018, it's Prince William.

The Duke of Cambridge debuted quite a haircut on Jan. 17 while visiting veterans at Evelina's children hospital in London. After years of a slowly receding hairline and gradually thinning locks, Prince William finally shaved his head.

Here's a photo of the new and improved Will (are we allowed to call him that?) looking sleek:

One can assume that his buzzed look is a result of years of teasing from his brother, Prince Harry, and even his wife, Kate Middleton.

A farmer once told E! News that when the royal couple was visiting his farm, Middleton poked fun at her husband's slight baldness after he showed interest in an alpaca.

"I showed it to them," said Lyn Cregan at the time. "The princess said he should put it on his head. She said 'You need it more than me," and pointed to his head and laughed."

Thankfully one of the things that makes Prince William so lovable is that he has a good sense of humor, even when it comes to his hair.

Vanity Fair reported that while on a visit this year to a cafe run by a homeless charity in London, he popped by the hairdresser next door and said: "I don't have much hair. I can't give you much business."

Oh, Will.

While male hair loss has plenty of treatment options — low-level laser therapy, nutritional supplements, toupes or a hair transplant ah la President Trump — there is a quiet dignity in just taking care of it with an electric razor.

The royal family has yet to comment on the Prince's new royal haircut.
