Bad news for those of you (me) who were planning on wooing Prince Harry and becoming British royalty: the man is off the market for probably ever.
Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, announced their engagement on Monday. The couple had been secretly dating for a year after news broke earlier this year confirming that the British royalty and the Suits actress were in fact together.
Following their official announcement, they sat down together with BBC for their first joint interview ever.
Prince Harry proposed to Markle while they were home together "trying" to roast a chicken. He got down on one knee, and she immediately said yes.
“You can see the bond between them, it’s there in the body language,” said Mishal Husain, who interview the couple. “I also was really struck that this is a couple who had to decide really early on in their relationship whether or not this has potential.”
