Don't be MEAN.

If you’re offended or hurt by things easily, you might look in the mirror and think to yourself, “Wow, I’m so sensitive.” Everyone talks about being soft like it’s such a BAD thing. But let’s be real – some things HURT.
There’s no shame in being offended.
You might constantly hear advice like “toughen up” or “that’s life,” — as if being hurt by things makes you weak or a whiner or something. Sure, certain things in life will always offend us, but that’s not our fault.
Maybe, other people should just stop saying things that they know are plain offensive or hurtful. Problem solved.
People who are especially mean say things that hit way too close to home. Some things just break your heart in two. It's like a punch in the gut.
Like when someone says, “You are really annoying and I don’t want to be your friend.” Or, “I don’t actually like you as much as you think I do.”
Ouch. That’s just COLD.

No one wants to hear these things because you know if you do, you’ll be so hurt that you’ll probably cry. Or at least spend a chunk of time ranting to your friends about it. Uncool AND uncalled for.
Your zodiac sign can say a lot about what hurts you and what doesn’t. Some zodiac signs have tough skin and don't get offended easily (unless you say something EXTREMELY cold, of course).
Other, more sensitive signs, get hurt if you so much as give them the slightest sign of rejection. It's not their fault, but some people just are more touchy.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
The WORST thing you can ever tell an Aries is: “You’re too much to handle.” She doesn’t take rejection very well.
If you tell her she is too much of ANYTHING, she will get hurt. She hates to think that some part of her personality caused you to reject her.
She embraces her strong personality, so if that’s your reason for rejecting her, she’ll definitely be upset.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
The one thing that will break a Taurus’s heart is “I don’t like you as much as you think I do.” OUCH.
Whenever she crushes on someone, Taurus hopes SO hard that they like her back, and sometimes she misreads signals that don’t actually mean anything.
That’s why it’s so heartbreaking when the other person tells her that she’s been wrong the whole time and that she doesn’t actually mean that much to them.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
A Gemini hates being told “I don’t want you because there’s someone else.” Jealousy overwhelms her, and in this situation, not only is she be upset about being rejected, but she is also envious of the other girl.
Gemini strives to be a positive and loving person, so she gets especially ashamed about her jealousy — she doesn’t want to hate someone who didn’t actually do anything to hurt her.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Unless you want to break a Cancer’s heart, never tell her “I don’t need you.” She loves to feel needed and wanted by her partner, so saying this to her will hit way too close to home and it will cause irreversible damage.
As a sensitive astrological sign, Cancer doesn’t get over stuff like this very easily.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
The worst thing to tell a Leo is “you’re not that great.”
She’s the happiest when she receives praise from her partner. All it takes is someone saying “you’re amazing and I love you” to make her day.
So, admittedly, she prone to getting SUPER offended and heartbroken when you tell her the exact OPPOSITE of that.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
NEVER say “I don’t care about you” to a Virgo. Not even if you're mad and lashing out or joking.
When you’re in a relationship (or even a friendship) with her, Virgo likes knowing that she has your attention and affection. So it’s pretty darn hard for her to hear that you don’t actually care for her.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
A Libra’s heart breaks when she hears the words “you’re really annoying.” It doesn’t matter if a friend says this or a lover. It just HURTS.
She wants to be a positive presence to other people. The last thing she wants to be is a nuisance.
A Libra doesn’t want to hear that you don’t want her to be in your life because you think her personality is bothersome. Especially since she's known to be the person who wants to make sure EVERYONE is happy.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
The worst thing you can tell a Scorpio is “I hate you.” She wants to be liked and accepted by others, so straight up telling her that you hate her will truly make her sad.
Heck, it would make ANYONE sad, but Scorpio, in particular, needs a lot of validation and affection, and she gets super insecure. Telling her you hate her will surely make her self-conscious.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
“You’re a terrible person” is the worst thing you can say to a Sagittarius. She believes (and tries to live like) she is good-hearted and warm, so telling her that she is in fact TERRIBLE will definitely hurt her feelings.
Plus, it's just plain wrong. She doesn’t think of herself as a bad person, so telling her that she is one will surely break her heart.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
A thick-skinned Capricorn rarely gets offended, so you’d have to say something ULTRA cold to be able to touch her feelings.
The worst thing you can say to a Capricorn is “my life would be better without you.”
If she feels like you actually MEAN it, then it doesn’t matter if you’re a friend, lover, or family member – those words are going to hurt.
Capricorn wants to believe that she influences her peers positively, so to find out that she does the exact opposite is both devastating and crushing.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Telling an Aquarius “you’re boring” is something she really can't bear to hear.
She considers herself adventurous, ambitious and strives to be successful in just about everything, so her feelings will be so hurt if you tell her that she’s somehow not exciting enough.
She also doesn’t take criticism very well, so she’ll likely remain bitter if you say something like that to her. Plus, all that hard work she puts in to everything would be a waste.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
The worst thing to tell a Pisces is “you’re unbearable.”
Not only is it fairly easy for her feelings to get hurt already, but telling her that you basically DESPISE her will pack a punch.
No one wants a personality trait so bad you can’t even BEAR it. HARSH.
It's important to Pisces to be liked and accepted by others, so this will be especially hurtful for her to hear.
