You can't mess with them.

When you think of a tough person, what do you see? A greaser like John Travolta’s character in Grease? Well, maybe without all the singing…
Or maybe you think of someone more like Samuel L. Jackson in literally any movie, especially Tarantino movies (you have to admit that being a badass comes naturally to him).
However you picture these tough-as-nails people, there IS always one quality they all have: a “don’t mess with me” attitude.
If you DO make the mistake of messing with the toughest of the tough, you have one of two options: either apologize and hope they forgive you or run away and hope they don’t follow you…
If I were messing with someone like Samuel L. Jackson, though, I’m not sure which one would be the better option.
Some zodiac signs are tougher than others.
They don’t often take crap from people, and in addition to standing up for themselves, they are usually ride-or-die kind of friends.
Their tough attitude can become apparent because of different experiences or mindsets, but either way, it’s always a good idea to keep your distance from these signs when they are on the prowl.

If you have always wondered which zodiac signs are the toughest, I am going to be honest with you: it’s probably easy to guess at least a few of them.
But as for the rest, it may just end up being a surprise for you AND them.
ARIES (Mar 21 - Apr 19)
Aries is the badass chick everyone wishes they were. Her tough attitude comes naturally because, well, that’s just the way she’s always been.
She knows that her personality can sometimes come off as pretty strong or intimidating, but she only puts up a guard when she isn’t sure what to think of you.
Like a superhero, Aries only ever uses her power for good.
You’ll never catch her acting tough just to seem threatening to a stranger. Instead, you really only ever see this side of her when she is sticking up for herself or her best friends because no one messes with an Aries and her crew.

TAURUS (Apr 20 - May 20)
Taurus doesn’t seem like one of the tougher signs off the bat, but never judge a book by its cover.
Taurus’ tough attitude comes out when she is standing up for someone she loves because nothing is more important to her than making her love for someone known.
It only takes one mention of someone hurting your feelings for Taurus to get tough (and get mad). While she isn’t much of a pushover, Taurus will stand up for other people before she stands up for herself.
Why? Because her priorities lie in making sure the people around her are taken care of.

CAPRICORN (Dec 20 - Jan 19)
Capricorn is a no-nonsense, “don’t mess with me” kind of girl.
While other signs might act tough for their friends, she does all for herself.
She knows that there will be people out there who will have issues with the type of person she is – serious, calculated, and traditional – but trust her when she says she doesn’t care what you think.
Capricorn’s tough outer shell is mainly a way to protect herself from people who want to try to bring her confidence down.
She can sometimes tune them out, but when all else fails, she will pull out the big guns.
I recommend you keep your distance when Capricorn starts acting tough.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Aquarius’ tough attitude comes from a similar mindset of Capricorn’s, one where she acts tough in order to save face.
It’s not that she doesn’t want people to be her friend, but rather that some people judge her before they know her.
Sure, she might be a little rough around the edges when you first meet her, but it’s only because she feels more comfortable opening up after she gets to know you.
She does, however, understand what it’s like to be singled out or ignored because of the way she acts, which can be why she has a little chip on her shoulder (and why it’s hard for her to dial down her tough attitude right away).
