'50 Shades' Friday: Which Star's Family Refuses To See The Flick?

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in Entertainment Weekly as Christian Grey and Ana Steele from '50 Shades Of Grey' for the 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' movie

The 50 Shades Of Grey movie has a lot of people hot and bothered, but for one Fifty Shades Of Grey cast member, it just has her parents, well, bothered.

Dakota Johnson, who stars as Anastasia Steele to Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey in the 50 Shades movie, won't have one of her parents at the premiere: Her father, Don Johnson. But before you get mad, know it's not personal! I mean, can you imagine your dad watching some rich dude rip a tampon out of you during sex? No? Then don't judge. (Dakota previously said she wouldn't give her parents, including mom Melanie Griffith and soon-to-be-former stepdad Antonio Banderas, permission to see the movie!)

Especially because Don Johnson is nothing but proud of Dakota.

"This is the family business. This is what we do, and I am absolutely certain that Dakota will take a piece of material and a character which a lot of people might imagine could be inappropriate in some ways and turn it into something spectacular," he reportedly told Good Morning Britain. "Speaking like a proud father and a seasoned professional, I can tell you that she is a gifted, gifted actress and this will just be one part in a long line of tremendous performances in her career."

As for why he won't watch it? Aside from the obvious, that is: "I probably will not see it just because it's not a movie I would see,"Don said simply. "I've never seen The Vampire Diaries, I've never seen Twilight. It’s in a category of films that I just wouldn’t be interested in."

Turns out, though, Don Johnson may like the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie after all. Why? A cast member revealed that it's very, very classy. Who said it and what'd they dish?

Eloise Mumford, who plays Ana Steele's roommate, Kate Kavanaugh, in the 50 Shades Of Grey movie, told E! News, "In the end, the story really is a romance and a love story so it's about that more than anything."

Mumford givest he credit for that to Sam Taylor-Johnson. "She's such a great director. I knew right away it would be tasteful and artistic," she gushed. "And the cinematographer is Seamus McGarvey. He did Anna Karenina. It's going to be beautiful."

Also beautiful? EL James' paychecks. The Fifty Shades Of Grey scribe reportedly took home a whopping $56 million this year, while Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling only netted about $14 million. That's right. Only $14 million. Anyone else not feeling too sorry for her?
