Guys, we're in the home stretch now! We don't know about you, but one thing back-to-school always meant for us was the simultaneous return of our favorite TV shows. And boy, for some of those cliffhangers it has been a looong summer.

While some of last season's finales were more, shall we say, explosive than others, many left us waiting and wondering how that will-they-or-won't-they dance finally plays out.

Before we get any further, we should warn you: there may be spoilers ahead (that's your cue to bookmark this page for after your Hulu binge).

1.Revenge: Emily and Jack Even though the childhood besties were this close to getting together back in the first season, the relationship never got past the friend zone But now that Jack knows Emily's (or should we say Amanda's?) true identity, will things change? We sure hope so!

2.Homeland: Carrie and Brody Ok, so maybe these two have already hooked up A few times. While he was married. That doesn't mean we want to see their star-crossed romance fizzle in the third season. Though after the way last season ended (with Brody a wanted man, hiding somewhere in Canada), we know it won't come easy.

3.Scandal: Abby and David Just admit it, one of the best parts of the Cytron plotline was Abby and David's scheming romance And the sexual tension was really hot when they were fighting after that dalliance. But now that we've had a summer to mull it over, we're ready for them to reunite.

4.The Vampire Diaries: Caroline and Klaus The Elena/Damon/Stefan storyline has gotten kind of tired, but that is so not the case when it comes to Caroline's love life Even though she's supposed to be with Tyler, every time Klaus shares the screen with her (who are we kidding, every time he's on screen period!) he makes a good case for why she should ditch Tyler. Take one look at this photo and tell us you don't agree. One major obstacle in the path to their potential relationship is that Klaus is moving over to TVD spinoff The Originals, but luckily it will also film in Atlanta.

5.The Vampire Diaries: Caroline and Stefan If you thought love triangles were complicated, what would you call this a love quadrilateral? Yes, Caroline is with Tyler (for the time being), and yes, she and Klaus have mega-hot chemistry, but then there's Stefan. The two vamps have formed an amazingly strong BFF relationship, so maybe they'd be wise to stay that way. But then again, no one knows you better than your best friend.

6.The Mindy Project: Mindy and Danny Ahh, the classic loathe-at-first-sight set-up But then, the rom-com banter kicks in and the two are the quintessential will-they-or-won't-they couple (now that Nick and Jess over in the New Girl loft are giving it an official go). For the record, we're hoping they will *wink.*

7.Nashville: Rayna and Deacon We don't think there's a couple on TV right now with a more complicated relationship history than Rayna and Deacon When last season ended, they were in a (potentially fatal? We hope not!) car crash as a result of a heated argument. If a relationship flourishes, it will definitely be a rocky road. But if you watch the show, you know that when these two are together beautiful music ensues. And that's not just a euphemism.
