10 Stirring Motivational Quotes To Inspire The HELL Out Of Millennials

Self

Make a life you're proud of.

Being a millennial means being at that age where it’s time to find a job in an economy that doesn’t have jobs, start being your own adult, and somehow choose between buying a house and buying avocado toast (apparently).

In other words, being a millennial is hard.

I have heard so many people tell me that back when they were my age, they were able to pay off their student loan within a few years and that everyone was basically handing out jobs right out of college like they were candy.

Well, I don’t know about you, but both of these things have been extremely hard for me.

As soon as I graduated, I calculated that I would be paying off my student loans until I was 35 (which means I have a good 10 years to go) and then I sat down and applied for full-time jobs for two years (yes, two whole years) before I was able to jumpstart my career.

As millennials, we are constantly criticized for being lazy, obsessed with our phones, and a ton of other ludicrous accusations that don’t make sense, like desperately needing avocado toast.

And all of this criticism can make it even harder to see yourself as someone who can succeed in the future not just in your career, but in life in general.

You can find inspiration almost anywhere, but only you can give yourself the motivation you need to stop caring what others think and do what’s going to make you happy.

Remember that you’re only young once and being a millennial means you’re in the prime of your life.

And who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be able to give the next generation advice about how to find their own motivation in life, thanks to these inspirational quotes that will help YOU today.
