How The Zodiac Signs Set Standards In Their Relationships

We all have lines that can’t be crossed, things that we won’t tolerate, and actions that we won’t put up with. And these things can affect our relationships.

If you’re dating a guy and he refuses to get a job, you might have difficulty in seeing any kind of future with him, or if you’re seeing someone has made it clear that they want you only as a booty call and you want more than just sex.

If you’re honest with yourself, you know what you want and will go about setting standards you want adhered to.

Everybody has set standards and a bar that must be reached. If your standards are impossibly high, that could make you unintentionally weed out some possible partners; if your standards are too low, then you’ll find yourself settling on someone who really isn’t a good fit for you.

By setting standards, you’re able to decipher and see any red flags that are being presented. You might have had a boyfriend in the past who seemed great on paper, but when you met him certain things he said made you feel uncomfortable. You ignored the feeling you got from him initially and things progressed, but that feeling didn’t go away, especially when he continued to these things that were supposedly just his sense of humor.

The more involved you got in the relationship, the more his insulting jokes were... until you were forced to recognize that saying these things weren’t funny and that you wouldn’t put up with it anymore.

People are going to change but not just because you want them to, and they may not change in ways that you want. It’s better to know what you’re willing to tolerate and what’s the standard that must be reached.

You're done if he's a lazy-ass. It's one thing if he has occasional lazy times but when he never wants to do anything except hang out on the couch, you know he's not for you. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

You're no longer going to deal with a guy who won't answer a direct question or any question in a straightforward manner. You hate when someone gives you the runaround, and if he's not going to be honest with you and give you a straight answer, you're done with that kind of shady behavior.
