About Alisa Jaffe Holleron

Alisa Jaffe Holleron, LCSW, is an experienced psychotherapist and  creator of the Live Oak Center for Psychotherapy and Education where she maintains a busy practice working with divorced co-parents, couples and families.

Alisa developed the curriculum for the class “An Unexpected Journey: The Road to Power and Wisdom in Divorced Co-Parenting” and teaches it regularly at Live Oak. She has been teaching divorced co-parenting classes for more than 10 years. She authored the book “An Unexpected Journey: The Road to Power and Wisdom in Divorced Co-parenting and uses it as an resource for her classes. She is very happy to have recently kicked off the new online class: “Finding Power and Wisdom in Difficult Divorced Co-Parenting.” She also teaches her curriculum to other therapists.

In addition to authoring her book, Alisa has had articles published on Huffington Post, Yahoo Shine and Mothering.com.

Alisa earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Illinois in 1985, and has worked in social services her entire adult life. Her engaging, open-minded, humorous and accepting style is appreciated by her clients and group participants.
