As a holistic psychotherapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients address current life challenges and long-standing issues. With compassion and understanding, I help individuals find resolution to a wide range of personal concerns, including sexuality issues, trauma, relationship/intimacy issues and psychological issues.
With an integration of complimentary approaches, I draw from a variety of methodologies and techniques, such as EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Sex Therapy, and Imago Couples Therapy to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual. In a comfortable, safe and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help them attain the personal growth they’re striving for. Together with each client, I work to develop strengths and achieve life goals.
I have a private practice in Boca Raton, FL and specialize: in relationship/intimacy issues, sexuality concerns, trauma and life stressors. I am a national and international presenter and workshop facilitator who teaches in areas of enhancing sexuality, tantra sexuality, healing the mind-body connection of trauma, and personal growth transformation.
I have a doctorate in clinical sexology, am a licensed clinical social worker, and certified in the following disciplines: sex therapy, Imago Relational therapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR and a registered Sivananda yoga teacher. Additionally, I have extensive training in trauma resolution and tantric mind-body therapy. I facilitate a program in Personal Transformation Intensive which focuses on codependency, addiction, sexual abuse, mind/body issues and relationships. I am also an AASECT Certified Supervisor for Sex Therapists and a state approved Clinical Supervisor for Licensees of Clinical Social Work. I work toward empowering new therapists with a solid foundation of clinical experience, direction and support which ultimately benefits the clients they counsel.
I am a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Sexologists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology, an active member of: The American Association of Sexual Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, National Association of Social Workers, South Florida Society of Trauma Based Disorders, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy Association and EMDR International Association.
