Now, amid rumors that the Real Housewives of Miami star had cheated and was a gold digger, Larsa is speaking out.
The couple announced their split on November 2, and online critics were quick to hate on Larsa. In addition to being labeled a gold digger, Larsa was accused of cheating on the former basketball player.
Larsa wasn't having it, and decided to publicly address the haters.

She shared this message on her Instagram Stories:
"Ppl are so insensitive to my life. I'm a lover and will never say anything negative about him. My soul isn't built for negativity. I'll take a beating publicly. Ppl saying I cheated when believe me it wasn't like that. He was nowhere around. I cried oceans after him. I would do anything for him."
"Ppl saying I'm a gold digger is inane. I don't care about money. I've had it my whole life."
Larsa also eluded to specific reasons for the divorce, pointing out that Scottie left her alone many she times when she needed him around.
"I spent my bday, New Year's Eve, times when I needed him alone. At some point, I decided I had to live my truth and here I am."
The official court documents cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The last social media picture Larsa shared with Scottie in it was this group photo for Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Oct. 2.
Despite the gold digger accusations, Larsa and Scottie have actually been married for 21 years and have four children together. Hollywood Life reports that this is the second time the pair had filed for divorce in two years. Three of their children are minors and Larsa is seeking joint legal and physical custody.
So, what are the cheating rumors all about?
Larsa was reported to have cheated on Scottie Pippen with the rapper, Future, two years ago. And it was because of this that Scottie had filed for divorce the first time around.
Since the news of the divorce broke, both Scottie and Larsa seem to be in good spirits. Both of them were seen out and about. E! News reports that Scottie had dinner with a friend at STK Downtown in New York on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Larsa was spotted in Los Angeles at the Hailey Baldwin x Pretty Little Thing collection launch at celeb hotspot Catch LA.
"Larsa kept smiling and laughing and seemed to be in really good spirits," an eyewitness said. "It looked like she was having a blast."
