Is Pregnant Pole Dancing A Sexy Way For Moms To Get Fit?

Chances are you're not as skilled as the professional dancer.

Sex Appeal: Why Pregnant Pole Dancing Is Not Sexy

When I first watched the video for the "Redefining Sexy: Oh Baby! Hottest Pregnant Pole Dance Ever" workout for prego moms, my first thought was, "Damn! That's hot! If I had taken that on when I was pregnant, combined with my insatiable horniness (which I have found to be quite common among the knocked up), my husband wouldn't have been able to keep his hands or his thoughts off of me!"

Then I imagined myself in that enormous ready-to-pop and unable to maneuver a flight of stairs — not to mention a 2" metal pole — state and reality quickly set in. For the majority of expectant moms out there, who aren't professionally trained (as obviously the mom in this video is), the hazards of hurling our huge bellies through the air while clutching nothing more than an umbrella stand cannot possibly end well for anyone. The image of a barely there baby bump gracefully twirling seductively in front of my wildly aroused man, was quickly replaced with the YouTube pole dancing fails.

And all I could think of was splatting belly first on my bedroom floor and giving birth to Flat Stanley. I'm sure some pregnant women are far more graceful and way tinier than I was...but knowing the thousands of mommas I have gotten to know over the years, I'm thinking most are more like me than the hot potato in this ad.

And for that reason, I'm giving a big thumbs down to prego pole dancing and instead suggest they use this class as an opportunity for a girls night out...which we ALL could use once the baby comes to get back both our hot body and steamy sex life.
