Hello. I am a clinical psychologist and have a private practice in Bryan, Ohio. I did not take a direct route to being a psychologist and began my education and career in the field of technology. My undergraduate and master's degrees are both in computer science; however, my focus during my master's degree was on the interaction between humans and computers. I then taught technology for 12 years at Defiance College before earning my PhD in Clinical Psychology and starting my own practice. It seemed like a natural progression from pure programming as an engineer to studying and teaching the interactions of technology with people to finally focusing specifically on people.
I am currently a single mother (with a very involved x-husband) of three children ages 15, 14, and 9. Much of my time is spent enjoying all of their events - I know that it will go by quickly.
