Frodo is all grown up! Elijah Wood was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Monday, July 8th with his girlfriend Mette-Marie Kongsved. The couple were shopping for furniture and paid a visit to a Best Buy. The 38-year-old actor looked comfortable and at ease with his Danish lady love, who appeared to have a baby bump underneath the burnt orange dress she wore. But there's more! Elijah's gal pal was also wearing a sparkly ring on her left hand. Are they engaged? Who is Elijah Woods' baby mama? Read on for all the details.
1. How long have they been together?
Elijah Wood and Mette-Marie Kongsved have been dating for more than two years. They worked together on 2017's I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore. They kept things pretty under wraps for awhile. They were first spotted together in public back in January 2018. Their first public outing was in Pasadena, California and the couple was holding hands as the paparazzi took notice. In February, they attended the Rodarte fashion show together.
2. She's a producer from Denmark
Mette-Marie Kongsved is a film producer from Denmark. She is producing Elijah's next movie, Come to Daddy, about a man in his 30s who travels to a remote cabin to reunite with his estranged father. She also produced the Eddie Izzard film Boyz in the Wood.
3. Past loves
Kongsved was married once before to writer-producer Evan Louis Katz. The couple tied the knot in 2011 and divorced in 2017. Wood, of course, was with musician and actress Pamela Racine for five years, but that's been over since 2010. More recently he was seen with his Grand Piano co-star, Kerry Bische, but even that was in 2012.
4. What about that ring?
Kongsved was sporting a ring on her left hand that looked very much like an engagement ring. So, did Elijah pop the question? The truth is: we don't know! However, we love love, so let's just assume they did and celebrate their love and upcoming baby. By the way, that baby will be the first for both Mette and Elijah.
