Who Is Vanessa Lachey? New Details On The Actress Playing Jason Priestley's Wife On 'BH90210'/

Is anyone else super freaking excited for BH90210, the reboot of the classic 1990s show Beverly Hills, 90210? Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jenny Garth, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling and Gabrielle Carteris will all be back to check in and see where the gang is nearly two decades later. The cast will be playing themselves in a heightened version of reality that is inspired by their real lives and relationships.  The show will premiere August 7, 2019 at 8/7c on Fox. It was recently announced that Vanessa Lachey will be playing Jason Priestley's wife Camille. Remember this is a heightened reality show so Priestley is playing himself, not Brandon Walsh. Who is Vanessa Lachey?

1. She's from the Philippines

Vanessa Lachey was born Vanessa Joy Minnillo on May 13, 1980 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. Her dad, Vincent Minnillo is an American citizen from Cleveland, Ohio of Italian and Irish decent. Her mother Helen Bercero is from Manila, Philippines. Her father was in the Air Force and as a result, the family moved frequently. 2. Miss Teen USA

Vanessa's family eventually settled in Charleston, South Carolina where she was a cheerleader and Bishop England High School. She was Miss South Carolina Teen USA in 1998 and went on to win the Miss Teen USA title. 3. Total Request Live

Vanessa hosted MTV's Total Request Live  from 2003 to 2007. She was also a New York City correspondent for Entertainment Tonight in 2005. She hosted the 2004 Miss Teen USA pageant nad co-hosted the 2007 Miss Universe pageant. Vanessa has appeared on a number of television shows including 30 Rock, Hawaii 5-0, Psych and The Bold and the Beautiful. She was on the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars. She competed against her husband. She was paired with Maksim Chmerkovsky while her husband was paried with Maksim's wife Peta Murgatroy. 4. Her husband

Vanessa started dating Nick Lachey in 2006 after appearing in the music video for his song "What's Left of Me." They got engaged in November 2010 and married on Richard Branson's Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands on July 15, 2011. 5. Her role on BH90210

Vanessa will play Camille, "the high-powered publicist wife of Jason Priestley who is balancing her demanding career with the hopes of starting a family." Vanessa posted an adorable video to Insta to announce her news. In it a GIF of her rises behind a photo of the original cast as they are today while the iconic Beverly Hills, 90210 theme song plays in the background. She captioned it: "My NEW JOB has a pretty iconic zip code!!! I am still pinching myself that I get to join this incredible cast & play Jason Priestley’s wife.
