Sad news for One Direction's Louis Tomlinson. His younger sister Felicite was found dead in her London apartment. She was just 18. This death comes two years after he lost his mom, Johanna Deakin at just 42 to leukemia. The Sun is reporting that Felicite collapsed in her fourth floor apartment at Earl's Court in West London during the afternoon of March 13th. Paramedics raced to her apartment, but were unable to revive her. How did Louis Tomlinson's sister die?
1. She had a heart attack
Representatives for Louis Tominson have confirmed that his 18-year-old sister died of a "heart attack/cardiac arrest." This is the latest tragedy in the former One Direction member's life. 18 is an extremely young age to have a heart attack but the truth is heart disease can begin to surface that young. Toxicology tests will be performed on her to determine if a substance hastened her death. Louis has pulled out of a headlining performance on March 15th at BBC1's Comic Relief to give himself time to mourn his sister.
2. She was an influencer
Felicite was a popular Instagram fashion and beauty influencer with over 1.3 million followers. She leaves behind Louis and her sisters Lottie, Georgia, Phoebe and Daisy Tomlinson. She shared the photo below with her siblings on December 30, 2018.
3. Louis' new song
Felicite's death comes just as Louis released his new song called Two of Us. The touching ballad is about his late mom. Lyrics like, “You’ll never know how much I miss you/The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead/But you once told me don’t give up/You can do it day by day/And diamonds they don’t turn to dust or fade away, show just how much Louis misses his mom.
4. The police's statement
The Metropolitan Police Service told E! News that the police responded to a call at an address in London that reported a female in cardiac arrest. The statement reads: “Police are in the process of informing her next of kin. At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.”
5. The tributes
Friends and fans of Louis Tomlinson have been sending their condolences out via social media, including James Corden, Charlie Puth and Rak-Su.
