5 Zodiac Signs Who Play The Victim (And Take No Responsibility For Their Actions)
It's never their fault.
How often do you play the victim card? Is it easy for you to blame someone or something else for your problems? Do you want others to feel sorry for you so that they’ll go easier on you?
The truth is, astrology influences our personalities, determining our daily horoscopes. And for the zodiac signs who play the victim, they find it hard to take responsibility when they mess up or something happens; it's much easier to point the finger.
The problem is that when you play the victim all the time, it tends to push people away and you come off as an irresponsible, whiny child. Martyrs aren’t exactly attractive. No one has ever said that they wanted someone who always felt victimized and exploited.
Ultimately, you give away your control and then get angry when things don’t go the way you would have wanted them to. You feel sorry for yourself and become stuck, as if there’s nothing you can do to change your situation.
If you want to make your life better (and healthier), take action. Don’t rely on others to guide and protect you through life. Be assertive, and if you make a mistake, accept it, learn from it and keep trying.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos tend to be arrogant victims, which means they know they weren't the problem when something went wrong; instead, it was because someone else didn't do it Virgo's way. Another reason why it's not Virgo's fault or responsibility is because it's obvious that their colleagues don't have the same level of knowledge and/or experience that they have.
In other words, Virgos are surrounded by incompetent idiots, so how could they possibly be at fault for something they had no control over?
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers have a tendency to believe that everyone is out to get them — not psychically, but emotionally. And they're just waiting for someone to do something that they can cut them out of their life. You don't even have to do anything, Cancer just needs to think that you did.
Most of the time these actions are more misunderstandings and everyday behavior rather than deliberate unkindness or abuse. They're very emotional and they tend to take things very personally. Cutting people out of their life is Cancer's coping mechanism and it tends to create rather tumultuous relationships.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces can be a bit gullible and they're willing to give people second chances repeatedly. The problem is that Pisces doesn't stick up for themselves; they have no boundaries, so when they're mistreated it happens over and over again.
Pisces would rather play the victim than assertively stand up for themselves. Pisces want to be liked and they're willing to put up with a lot rather than lose someone's love. When you aren't even your own advocate, you feel powerless and at the mercy of others.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are passionate and sensitive, but those aren't the qualities that allow them to play the victim — it's that they hang on to grudges and won't let go. Ask a Scorpio if they have any old grievances and they'll give you a list that goes back to when they were kids.
They never forget and use their grudges as if they were legitimate excuses. If someone tries to make Scorpio accountable, this zodiac sign has no problem bringing up the past hurts they've experiences. Everybody has had bad things happen to them, but Scorpio tends to feel that they are reasons why they're unable to make changes in their life, how they do things, and why nothing is ever their fault.
5. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini isn't a victim all the time, just when they compare themselves negatively to other people. When you constantly feel that you don't measure up to your neighbors, co-workers, or the people you went to high school with, you defeat yourself without even taking any action.
Why should you try when someone will always be and do better than you? With that kind of defeatist attitude, you put yourself in the role of the victim. The good thing is that Gemini can usually talk themselves out of such a negative mood and focus on their more positive attributes.
