5 Realistic Zodiac Signs Who See The World As It Is
Realists are able to separate fact from fiction.
Realists search for the truth, even when that truth makes them uncomfortable. Realists are practical, grounded, non-judgmental, objective, and their perspective isn’t distorted by any kind of bias.
Just like most things, astrology is a good guide for revealing your best (and worst) personality traits. And whether or not your horoscope mentions it directly, there are some realist zodiac signs who don't view the world through rose-colored glasses.
Because realists are so clear-eyed, they don’t miss much and they are fascinated by life as it is now. Realists determine their point of view on things that are actually happening, not what they wish or hope would happen. Action means more to a realist than thoughts or what people say. They learn about people through their behavior and the way they act. Actions definitely speak louder than words for them.
When you’re a realist, you are present in the moment and you pay attention to what’s happening around you. You don’t hide from reality nor do you choose things that make reality easier to take.
You might think that all artists and philosophers would lean more toward optimism or pessimism, but that’s not the case. Many great thinkers and creatives like to see life exactly as it is as a jumping off point. Sometimes, realists are mistaken for pessimistic, mainly because the truth of a situation can seem hopeless and sad.
Realists see through the BS and will speak their mind if someone is doing something that's destined to fail. There are times when other people resent a truth-teller and would prefer to dream rather than listen to a realist’s advice. But which zodiac signs are realists?
1. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
An Aquarian can look at a situation clearly and understand exactly what is happening. When other people dismiss your advice or predictions, you have to hold your tongue when something happens exactly as you predicted it would. It's a constant battle not to say, "I told you so" every time you're right.
Often times, people just aren't in the right frame of mind to heed the real, practical advice you give out. The good thing is when you're as right about things as you are, you don't need to gloat.
2. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Sometimes people misinterpret your realism for pessimism. You can't help it if much of what's happening in the world isn't great. We live in troubling times, and while you see things as they are, it's not that you don't have hope that things will get better. You are hopeful and think that having a realistic point of view gives you a good starting point for working on change.
Although you're a realist, that doesn't stop you from putting other people first. You know that might not be the best plan, but you're too unselfish not to try and help others.
3. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
You have never been one to shy away from the truth, which is the reason why so many people come to you when they need someone to tell them exactly how it is. You have a realist's perspective and amazing communication skills.
You believe in being completely honest, especially when it can prevent unhappiness and pain in the future. It's not your style to lie to someone just to make them feel better. You believe in seeing a situation clearly before taking action and you advise your loved ones to do the same.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
You don't do things impulsively or rashly. You consider the circumstances carefully before making a decision or taking action. You plan almost everything from trips to family gatherings. You take responsibility when things go well and when they go wrong.
You're prepared for when Plan A doesn't work or something goes wrong. You always come prepared. You're the one who always brings an extra gift or two to a celebration that involves presents because someone will always drop the ball, and you don't want anyone to feel left out.
5. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
You're able to not only consider the big picture but also to pay attention to the small details. You may be a realist, but you aren't a jerk about it. You are intelligent enough to know all the facts of a situation and wise enough to know how to handle a situation without adding any additional hurt with it.
You understand that people have their own feelings, and you're careful to give your opinion without them feeling threatened or attacked. Just because you see the world as it is, it doesn't mean you force your knowledge on someone who isn't receptive to it.
