What's his body language trying to tell you?

We can tell a lot about someone from their body language. And what a complex and highly nuanced language it is! Body language relays its information via movement and gesture, rather than words and sounds.
Many men aren't comfortable giving the play by play of their emotions and can sometimes seem entirely baffled that a woman doesn't understand how much he cares for her. But because men aren't too open about what they are feeling, there are times when women can be completely clueless as to what men are feeling about us.
You might wonder if that guy you've been dating is falling for you but you can't be sure. He's never actually said how he feels about you, but he did bring you chicken soup when you had the flu. Are actions really louder than words? Sometimes the smallest gestures have the most meaning; on the opposite side of the spectrum, the grandest gestures can have little meaning and are only for show.
Like with any language, body language can be easily misinterpreted. Every language has its own set of nuances and inflections. For example, people in France and Quebec both speak French, but there are many times that they can be in a conversation and not know what the other person is saying.
While there are universal elements to body language, each person puts their own spin on it, usually unintentionally, making it even more confusing. Is his body language telling you that he's falling for you, or is it politely saying to get away from him and leave him alone?
Here's where astrology can help. Every zodiac sign has its own distinctive ways of communicating. Knowing how each sign communicates can help you to figure out if he's just not that into you, or if he's all in.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)

One really good thing about Aries individuals is that they are pretty clear with their emotions. And if an Aries man is falling for you, he'll not only tell you, he'll show you in a thousand different ways — carrying things for you, making sure you have whatever you need, and holding you close if you're on a scary ride.
Aries individuals are adventurous and energetic, and if he's making sure you're OK then you know he's feeling more than friendly with you. But he probably already told you that.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Has your Taurus cooked you an epic meal? Did he take care to only cook the things you love? Is his plating a work of art? Did he pull the chair out for you and put the napkin on your lap? When he toasted, did he look you right in the eye, not breaking the eye contact until you did? All these things are a Taurus' way of letting you know he's falling in love with you.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Geminis are nature flirts, so it can be difficult to discern if his charming ways mean something. If you're at a party with a Gemini, does he make sure to circle back to you from time to time? Does he lean towards you and gently touch your elbow or the small of your back? Is his smile a little wider and brighter when he's smiling at you? Yep, he's falling for you.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Cancers are truly caring individuals, so it may be difficult to know if he feels the same way you feel about him. But there are some clues. If you're at dinner or just watching Netflix, does he keep getting up to get you everything you need? Does he ask you if you're too cold/hot and then adjusts the temperature accordingly? Does he look over at you when something funny happens in the movie just to make sure you're enjoying it?
If it seems as if he's focusing a lot of his energy on making you happy, you'll know he's probably going to use the L word pretty soon.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Everybody loves a Leo, and it appears that Leo loves everybody. So how can you tell if he thinks you're someone special? When a Leo puts his arm around you in public and keeps it there, you can bet you're pretty special to him; if he puts his hand on your shoulder or waist, he's letting other men know that you're off the market, so to speak.
Yes, it's very primal, like he's marking his territory, but at least he'd never say that in words. He's probably not even conscious that he's doing it in the first place.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

Virgos are hard to read. They take a lot of time and have the subtlest of body language cues. If he's getting strong feelings for you, he'll carry things for you, even though you can do it yourself. It's his subconscious way of trying to prove himself to you.
Virgos don't drop the mic if they are interested, they'll carry it and set it up, too. Anything they can do for you, Virgo will do it, especially if it takes some knowledge to do; Virgos love to research and show off how smart they are.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Libras are super-romantic, so they are going to do all the obvious things like present you with flowers and candy, give you adorable smiles that reach up to their eyes, and if there's a piano or guitar nearby, they will suddenly get up and sing you an improvised song about how beautiful you are. Oh, and there's probably a poem somewhere inspired by you.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

Like with everything, the body language of a Scorpio falling in love is full of passion. Although many signs flirt, if a Scorpio does, it means he has deep feelings for you; they don't just flirt with anyone.
Is he always seeking you out, whether it's with eye contact at a dinner party or dropping by your work to take you to lunch? When you go to his house, does he come outside to meet you? Or better yet, is he waiting outside when you show up? All these are indications of his deep feelings for you.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Does your Sagittarius constantly try to make you laugh and touch you when you're both giggling hysterically at something he said? Does he find excuses to touch your hair, like brushing your bangs out of your eyes? These are all strong body language cues that a Sagittarius gives when he's really into someone.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

Capricorns aren't known for making big gestures, so when they do something like sit on the floor, it carries a lot of meaning. He's saying that he's comfortable and wants to be more open with you. If he sits on the floor and holds your hands, he's showing you that he wants a deeper connection with you. Don't be surprised if you get into a deep philosophical discussion about the meaning of life.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarius men aren't the most forthcoming with their emotions, so it's a good idea to observe their body language. Does he angle his chest/heart towards you? What about his feet? It may be that his body is literally trying to get close to you.
What about hand holding? Is he the one reaching for your hand more often than not? Does he do it in front of his friends and family? When he holds your hand in public, he's being especially vulnerable, showing people his desire for the both of you to be identified as a unit.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Pisces men show their deep emotions with affection. If you're on the couch, he'll pull you close and maybe rest his head on your shoulder. He doesn't have to say anything with words; his body is letting you know that you've stolen his heart.
