How decisive are you?
weheartit I admire truly decisive people. I’m impressed by their ability to come to a decision and stand by it. I’m not that way. It takes a lot of back and forth before I finally come to a decision and by then, I usually regret the decision I’ve made.
How great must it be to feel 100 percent certain that you’ve not only made the best decision but one that will withstand all kind of scrutiny? It’s not easy standing by your decision when others challenge you on it.
Since it takes me so long to decide, if someone brings something up that I didn't consider or challenges the validity of my decision, I will go through the whole process again, just to decide if my decision was a good one or not. And though you may seek answers from your horoscope, it won't always help you make up your mind.
While it’s good to give certain decisions a lot of thought, there are some that just don’t merit it, such as what kind of pie you’re going to get for dessert — even if you restrict the number of sweets you have, if you decide on cherry pie, it doesn't mean you’ll never get to have some peach pie later. But if you put as much weight on what you’re going to wear to the party as you do to whom you’re going to marry, that becomes a problem.
Some decisions have the ripple effect where they affect more people and events than is clear at the start. You choose one road instead of another and your life-path is completely different.
When you have the information you need and have done the research (if the question was research-worthy) then you can be confident in your decision. I try to make thoughtful decisions but sometimes I get so bored with the process that I just decide the whole thing will be over.
Whether you’re indecisive or decisive has a lot to do with the zodiac sign that you were born under. Here are the most decisive zodiac signs (and least), ranked.
1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Once a Taurus has made a decision, they stick to it and it's practically impossible to get them to change their mind. They don't overthink their past decisions; though, when they make a decision, they don't just make it get it over with, they do consider the circumstances and the consequences.
They have tremendous confidence in their decision-making skills and they firmly believe that they always know best, making them one of the most decisive zodiac signs.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos don't go back and forth when they're trying to make a decision. They consider the options and make a fairly quick and thoughtful decision. They don't appreciate others deciding for them and like to handle all their decision-making for themselves.
They will listen to what another person has to say but they're still going to do what they're going to do. Leos rarely hesitate when making a decision and when they want something, they go out and get it.

3. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Now, Aries might not give as much thought to their decisions as some of the other signs but when they decide to do something, there's no lag time, they just do it. There are times when an Aries should give a little more thought to their decisions but they seem perfectly willing to accept the consequences (good or bad) of their decisions and they don't spend any time regretting their poor decisions.

4. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are great at making decisions when it comes to their work or their long-range goals. The problem is that when it comes to a partner, their heart tends to override what the brain is saying, and they pick the wrong partners.
Capricorns are smart in the ways of the financial and practical world but not as good with matters of the heart or the libido. At least when they make their (sometimes) bad decisions they do it with full confidence.

5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are similar to Capricorns in that they're very strong decision makers unless their emotions get involved. Normally, a Scorpio is very decisive and secure when they make a decision but that decision-making confidence goes out the window if they get angry or hurt. When a Scorpio is hurt, they let their emotions get the best of them and they tend to make terrible decisions that they regret later.
There are times when a Scorpio will wish they had the opportunity to change a decision which instead of alleviating pain, increased it. Sometimes when it comes to being decisive, there's no going back.

6. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos can be extremely practical and analytical, so much of the time they're very decisive — they know what they want and they've done the research on how to get it. They tend to make decisions and stick with them. However, Virgos can be fussy and worry about things so they can come to regret something they were so decisive about.
Maybe they shouldn't have offered to help on that project or agreed to go to that party. They'll reflect on those past decisions that they made so forcefully and wonder if they made a terrible mistake.

7. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Sometimes an Aquarius will be decisive just to be contrary; they don't care one way or another but they want to see the reaction of someone else when they make a decision. Aquarians tend to enjoy toying with people and behaving in unexpected ways.
They can be very detached and scientific. However, since they tend not to listen to their emotions at all, they can make rash decisions and are smart enough to quickly regret making them.

8. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are all heart and can be very changeable. They're not especially decisive as they tend to get overly emotional and somewhat touchy. They don't want to make a bad decision and have to pay the price, so they dither and try to put off deciding until it's too late.
Since they can be pessimistic, there's a part of them that's positive that when they're decisive it's because they didn't think things through enough and that there will be a negative result.

9. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces don't enjoy making decisions and being decisive as they're afraid that someone may get hurt as a result of a bad decision. They can be easily led and sometimes prefer it if someone else makes the hard decisions and just let them know.
They're very sensitive and they know that sometimes one tiny decision can have a huge effect on someone else. They'd rather not have the responsibility of hurting someone.

10. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians are decisive when it comes to travel but not with other issues. They tend to go back and forth with a decision until the people around them want to pull their hair out in frustration. They hate to miss anything and when you decide on one place, you're saying no to someplace else.
If they're indecisive about something, then it keeps things open and available. When it comes to being decisive, Sagittarians are too careless to consistently make good decisions in a strong, effective way.

11. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis can be somewhat inconsistent, so it's not surprising that they're not particularly decisive. They will consider all the options and make a decision but they're going to want to talk about it either before, after, or during.
