A breakup is NEVER easy, especially if you're getting your heart broken in the process.

Whether you were together for 5 months or 5 years, any breakup can be really INTENSE. And no one can prepare you for how it will feel. You may experience an actual broken heart (like real medical sh*t, it’s serious), prolonged crying sessions, or even constantly battling your mind to remove your ex from your thoughts.

Some people are completely fine with breakups and see them as opportunities to be single, have fun, and be free. But some can't handle the splitting-up drama and need help from friends and family to pick up the pieces of their broken heart.

And then there are those who lie in the middle. They may start out super chill and seem TOTALLY fine with being alone and then, three days later, they're the ones calling you at 3 am, bawling their eyes out.

The point is — we all deal with heartbreaking breakups differently.
