Couples' Halloween Costume Contest: Enter To Win A Trip For Two!

Couples' Halloween Costume Contest

This contest is now closed! Thank you to all who participated.

We'll show you our 50 favorite couples costumes if you show us yours! YourTango is collecting photos of the best "haunt couture" worn by you and your boo ... er, we mean beau ... for a chance to win big! It's so easy to enter. Here's how:

1. To enter via email: Send an (internet-quality) image of your best costume from Halloweens past to saraw@yourtango.com.

2. To enter via social media: Post your picture to Facebook and tag @YourTango (make sure you're a fan of our FB page in order to do this) or tweet your photo to @YourTango. In either case, include the hashtag #YourTangoHalloweenContest

Throughout September and October, we'll update the below slideshow each day with your submissions (so be sure to come back regularly and creep on your competition!). On October 17, we'll pick five finalists with the most kick-ass costumes and ask YourTango readers to vote for a winning couple! We'll announce the winner on Halloween 2013.

YourTango will send the winning couple on a spook-tacular 2-night getaway (value: $1,000+) to The Inn at Serenbe, a breathtaking restored farmhouse from 1905 nestled deep in the woods of Chattahoochee Hill Country, Georgia. There, you and your honey will be treated to farm-fresh breakfasts and nightly dinners at The Farmhouse, Serenbe's award-winning restaurant specializing in farm-to-table cuisine, much of it grown just steps away on Serenbe's own working farm.

And that’s not all. The winning couple will also be treated to guided couples' horseback riding on local trails, a live music show or a fall performance at the acclaimed Serenbe Playhouse. We're particular stoked about the upcoming performance, The Sleepy Hollow Experience! The spooky rendition of Washington Irving's famous story will commence in the Serenbe Stables and feature a Headless Horseman rushing about on live horseback. You'll sure want to hold each other close for this one!

This woman and her fiancé dressed up as a pregnant house wife (she really was pregnant) and the milk man. (Get it?)

These two get A+ for makeup!

Her husband was Bob Ross, she was a happy little tree, and the baby (she was 19 weeks pregnant in this photo) was a squirrel in the tree! Isn't that precious?

Fighting crime with the power of love — we love it!

This couple got creative with their Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox costumes: "We used a collapsible laundry basket and wrapped it in fabric and drew bark on it."

Anyone remember these two from The Shining? They even have the creepy standing pose down!

Bamm Bamm Rubble and Pebbles Flintstone!

She's a brick ... house!

This woman and her boyfriend went as Ken and Barbie ... with a Halloween-y twist! "DTF Barbie (Drug Task Force Barbie) and Meth Head Ken!"

Pop-Eye and Olive Oil!

It's "Wilsoooooooooooonnn!" and Tom Hanks from Cast Away.

Looks like this lucky lady found her prince!

Eek! It's the Jigsaw Killer and one of his poor victims!

It's a pilot and a flight attendant. Up, up and away!

Is that Elvis, we spy?

"Wayne's World! Wayne's World! Party time! Excellent!"

This is a throwback: Hippies from the 70s.

These two are a match made in commercial heaven: the Mayhem Guy from Allstate and Flo from Progressive!

She was his catch ... literally! (And it looks like she took the bait.)

Holy Joker, Batman! It's not one, but two comic villains!

They even got their pug and baby to join in! (And that makeshift tank is just too much!)

It's Morty Fangstein (Vampire Haberdasher specializing in satin capes) with Cristal DeVine (from the Midnite Delight Escort Service). And another couple with a cute pup!

This is a 90s throwback! It's Arnold and Helga from Hey, Arnold!

These two both get points for a great makeup job!

A spook-tacular duo: it's Beetlejuice and Lydia!

And another Beetlejuice and Lydia!

These two are definitely in the spirit!

Watch out, Little Red Riding Hood!

This zombie prom king and queen partied 'til they dropped!

These two would be a match made in conservative heaven: Sara Palin and Joe The Plumber!

The arguable king and queen of the gaming world: Mario and Princess Peach!

Zombies!!
