This Just In: Size Matters — But There's More To The Story

We've known for a while that size matters to some women, especially those who can only reach orgasm through vaginal stimulation, but a new study is shedding more light into the bigger-is-better debate.

The study, published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, found that while well-endowed men are considered more attractive, a large penis gives tall men a bigger boost on the sexy scale than it does for short men.

After showing 105 Australian women life-size computer-generated figures of nude men with varying the penis sizes, heights and body types to determine what women were attracted to, researchers concluded that a guy's height is equally important as his manhood.

And what was even more important on the attractive scale than height and penis size? Masculine body types. Specifically, men who have wide shoulders and narrow hips, also known as a high shoulder-to-hip ratio.

It turns out, you're the one responsible for his penis size being a hot-or-not factor.

Even though men tend to worry more than women about how they measure up, the new study suggests that women's desires for bigger penises could explain why human males have relatively big genitals for their body size.

While researchers said it's possible women in the study were biased against short men, it could be that they felt larger penises looked more proportional on tall men.

Either way, we don't think short guys are doomed. In fact, our experts think shorter guys make great husbands. And we agree.

What do you think? Does size actually matter?
