7 Ideas To Spice Up Your Master Bedroom!—YOU'RE WELCOME

Want to have better sex? Make your bedroom FEEL sexual.

Your master bedroom should be nothing short of a romantic haven—a getaway from life, kids, work, etc. However, with so much going on in your life, it can be easy for your bedroom to turn into an overflow for clutter. A place to fold laundry, and a work area—which is the polar opposite of the sanctuary you and your partner need. If that’s the case, turn your life around and consider removing the things that don’t belong and adding some of these classy, romantic, and (dare we say it?) sexy changes.

1. Make up your bed.

It only takes two minutes to make your bed every morning, and it makes all the difference in the appearance of your room. It goes from frumpy, to a place where the magic can happen. Likewise, if your bed is sporting a raggedy quilt, that’s one of the biggest things that can kill the mood. Get a new comforter set with pillows to make your bed look fancy and relaxing.

2. Install a mini bar.

Save the night cap for the bedroom with your own mini bar. There’s nothing like enjoying a drink away from the hustle and bustle of the house in the privacy of your own, romantic bedroom.

3. Spruce up the bathroom.

Keep the magic alive with a dreamy bathroom. If your bathtub and/or shower isn’t big enough for two, it’s not big enough! If it’s in the budget, consider a renovation to invite the romance. While you’re at it, throw in a bidet, for when one kiss turns into ... you know.

4. Keep clutter out of your bedroom.

The bedroom is no place for unfolded laundry, kids’ toys, or unfinished projects. It should be a place where you can enjoy your partner’s company without unnecessary distractions. The romance can’t happen if you’re distracted by the mess in your bedroom.

5. Add mood lighting.

The harsh overhead light in most bedrooms can be a mood killer, to say the least! Avoid flipping on the ceiling light and use lamp lighting or the occasional candle to set the ambiance. You might also look into adding light dimmers to your bedroom lights.

6. Set the mood with scented candles.

Pillow talk is that one time you can spend talking with your partner without distractions. It’s a time to bond, discuss fears, reminisce on the good times, and plan for the future. Make it a priority to go to bed at the same time so you can enjoy this sacred time. You might also include some scents in order to set the mood with massage oils, scented candles, or incense.

7. Grow your lingerie collection.

If you’ve been with your partner for awhile, it’s easy to forget the sexy night wear and go for the flannel pajamas every night. But it’s important to switch it up every now and then with a large nightie selection for those nights when you’re definitely feeling in the mood.

One of the best things you can do for your relationship at any stage is set the mood in the bedroom, which requires a lot of primping and maybe a few renovations.
