5 Most Easily Offended Zodiac Signs
You can't be too careful with them.
It can be stressful and even terrifying being around someone who is easily offended. You don’t want to say anything that will set them off, and it feels as if you’re walking on eggshells. As hard as you try, you say something that offends them without meaning to.
What are the easily offended zodiac signs in astrology like? Sometimes they have a huge reaction, and you just want to get out of the line of their rage and hide somewhere. Then there are the times when they don’t appear to have had any kind of reaction; they stay silent, and little do you know that they’ve decided not only to stop speaking to you but have cut you out of their life.
There are many reasons someone may be easily offended: they need attention, they haven’t dealt with their feelings, they’re overly sensitive, they feel like they don’t have any power, or they want to have control over the people in their lives. Getting offended all the time often has little to do with real feelings and is more about being manipulative.
People who are easily offended are exhausting. It’s hard to be authentic around them because you don’t want to trigger them, so it’s just easier to be as calm and bland as possible in order to avoid an emotional meltdown.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos can be extremely critical of other people and themselves. When you have an inner voice always telling you how imperfect and wrong you are, you can be offended by the smallest thing that somebody else says.
They're almost waiting for someone to say something and make them mad. Virgos worry a lot that they don't measure up, so you might say something that you don't mean as criticism and Virgo will still take it that way.
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are sensitive and it's difficult to predict what's going to offend them. You could tell them something one day that they took as a compliment, and tell them the same thing the next day and they'd be completely offended. You never know what's going to upset a Cancer. You may think you're only teasing them in a friendly way, and they may interpret it as a slam against their character.
The trouble is that Cancers aren't a sign to just brush something off and move on. No, they're going to think about it for a long time and get upset all over again. Sometimes it doesn't make sense why they got offended in the first place, but you just have to honor it and apologize to them.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Speaking of sensitive, meet Pisces! They're kind, intuitive, and loving, but because they tend to be insecure, they can be easily offended. Pisces tend to need a lot of outside validation, and when they don't get it, they will get upset at some innocuous thing that was said or done.
Pisces are imaginative, and what started out as a throwaway line can be twisted to be something hurtful and offensive. When this happens, you've got to reassure them that they're loved and have so many things to be admired for.
4. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns work very hard, and if they don't get the recognition they believe they deserve, it will offend them. While Capricorns tend to have a great sense of humor, they don't do well if they think they're being made fun of or are the butt of a joke. That offends them deeply.
Capricorns often take things very personally, so even if someone didn't mean to insult them, they will think they did it deliberately.
5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios don't understand why everyone can't see how great they are, and if they don't, they must see something wrong in Scorpio, which is the height of offensiveness! Scorpios have a lot of big emotions, but they tend to internalize them, so when they get offended by something petty or harmless, they might be reacting to something that happened at another time.
If Scorpio is in defensive mode, there's no telling what's going to offend them and what they're going to laugh off.
