2. On set romance
Astin and Camp met on the set of Pitch Perfect in 2013. At the time, Camp was still married to her ex-husband Michael Mosley, though they were finishing up divorce proceedings. Astin and Camp became friends while filming the first Pitch Perfect movie and then really fell for one another working on Pitch Perfect 2. A source close to the couple back then told US Weekly that they "had a great connection and became friends, but nothing romantic happened until after she separated from her husband. They have amazing chemistry.” Camp later described it “We were friends first and just hit it off. He’s literally my best friend. He’s a magical person.”

3. Deeply in love
In 2016, Astin told PopSugar that he’d been in love with Camp from the moment he saw her and he couldn’t imagine a life without her. He said “I never saw an end of wanting to be in her life…I think that I just can’t imagine my life without her, so there’s nothing I’d rather do than marry her.”
The couple was very affectionate.
4. Wedding bells
The couple married in 2016 in California. In an interview about wedding planning, Camp said “I want the colors to feel very nature friendly, but very vibrant and lively. It’s fresh and also romantic. I want it to feel like you’re walking into Romeo and Juliet’s beautiful fantasy.” She went on to say that the groom had been very involved with planning the nuptials, saying “We do everything together. It’s really sweet.”

5. Love grows
After a year of marriage, Camp indicated that everything was going well for the couple, telling People “This has been the fastest year of my life. We fall in love with each other more and more every day we’ve been together. And I know it sounds, like, gross, everyone’s probably gonna throw up about that, but it’s actually really true.” She went on to say “Knowing that I have my best friend and that we are totally committed to one another and just to have that comfort and that safety and that bond where you know you’ve found your person. The longer you stay with somebody, the closer you get, and it’s really the best thing in the world to have another person that loves you just as much as you love them.”

6. Signs of trouble
But for all that professed undying love, there were signs that they weren’t as close as they once were. Sharp-eyed fans noticed that they weren’t appearing in one another’s social media posts regularly anymore, with only one post together in many months. Their last public appearance as a couple was back in October 2018 at a Disney event and a source close to the couple had told People that Astin had stopped wearing his wedding ring. They also listed their home for sale a month ago. The house is currently listed for $2.6 million.
