My name is Susan Sheppard and I am a relationship expert. I founded Getting What You Want, a life and relationship coaching organization devoted to just that.   I am the author of the book “How to Get What You Want From Your Man Anytime”, a relationship book focused to women that tells everyone in romantic relationships how to be content and have more intimacy, more fun, more sex and less bickering.

My purpose in Getting What You Want is to coach you to find and engage with your partner in love, chemistry and compatibility.  I am a speaker, writer, trainer and coach who is passionate about sacred intimacy in solid, loving family life.  My goal is to propel you to initiate passionate movement towards meaningful love in your life. The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

After 23 years of marriage, my husband and I divorced. I  embarked on a journey of self discovery and education focused on learning how to do relationship successfully.  As often happens, my journey led me to the realization that I had something to offer to people who want more from their personal relationships. Something to offer to those who want a relationship that offers authenticity, intimacy, love as well as sexual satisfaction and partnership. What exactly is sacred intimacy? Those of you who have experienced the vulnerability, closeness, contentment and unconditional love that one experiences when you drop all of your pretenses and surrender yourself to another human being, understand the preciousness of this kind of relationship.  It is extraordinary and unintentional in times of stress such as caring for someone during a terminal illness, or after a critical incident and a choice when you enter a committed relationship. It is, however, a relationship that once you have experienced it, you do not ever want to be without that level of intimacy and closeness. My work has provided me with the tools to help you achieve that kind of sacred intimacy in your relationship.
