Ricky Martin And Husband Jwan Yosef Expecting Baby Number Four
They've always wanted a big family.
Pop singer Ricky Martin shared exciting news that he and husband Jwan Yosef are expecting a little one on the way! The artist made his announcement during his award acceptance speech for the 23rd annual Human Rights Campaign National Dinner in Washington D.C. on Saturday, September 28. This will be the couple’s fourth child and from Martin’s expression, his happiness and excitement is contagious!
The baby will be born through a surrogate mother but, at this time, there is no further information on how far along the surrogate is with her pregnancy or what the gender of the baby is yet.

1. He's an artist.
Jwan and Ricky began dating in April 2016 and married in 2017. Jwan is a Syrian-born Swedish artist and painter. He is of Kurdish and Armenian ancestry. His family immigrated to Sweden when he was young. He studied painting at the Pernby School of Painting in Stockholm from 2004 to 2006. He then attended Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stockholm.

2. This will be Martin and Yosef's fourth child.
The couple has twin sons who were also born through a surrogate; Valentino and Matteo, 11 and an 8-month-old daughter named Lucia. According to People, Lucia made her social media debut this past August on Martin's Instagram. His daughter was born on Christmas Eve in 2018 which is also Martin’s birthday. How stinking cute is she?!
3. Martin was honored at the Human Rights Campaign event as an LGBTQ advocate.
According to USA Today, “Martin was being honored with the National Visibility Award for his advocacy of LGBTQ rights and his philanthropy. The couple's 11-year-old sons were in the audience.”
4. Martin recognized his family in his speech.
"My family's here," the singer said. "Jwan, I don't see you, but my husband, Jwan, I love you. My beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo, they're also here. I love you with all my heart, you're my strength, you inspire me every day, you motivate me to keep doing what I'm doing and you guys are amazing kids. You guys are amazing."

According to E! News, Martin told "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" back in 2017 that he always wanted a big family. During his speech at the Human Rights Campaign dinner he said: "And by the way, I have to announce that we are pregnant," he said with a laugh to explosive cheers. "We are waiting. All right! I love big families."
6. The couple will use a surrogate mother.
The couple previously used a surrogate to carry their twin sons and are using a surrogate again for their fourth child. In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Martin said, "It's funny because the way we do babies, I get to choose the sex."
