Who Is Noelle Dobie? Kenneth Petty's Ex Attacked
Kenneth Petty is cuddled up with Nicki Minaj but his ex Noelle Dobie was attacked last week
Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty aren’t married yet, though the two of them seem to be settled into a cozy domestic routine, at least according to recent interviews the rapper is doing. But things haven’t been quite as comfortable for one of Petty’s exes. Noelle Dobie hit up social media last week to share details of an alleged attack against her and it seems like she may be lucky to be alive.
In a photo, she showed bloodstains on her bathroom floors and told a harrowing tale of being targeted by someone who allegedly wanted to kill her. Whoever it was came at her with a gun and, while she wasn’t shot, she did sustain injuries to her face.
Who is Noelle Dobie and who was after her? Read on to learn more.
1. Attack
On March 19, Noelle posted photos of a white tiled floor covered in what appeared to be blood. The captions read: “Thank god my daughter wasn’t home and I’m thinking [sic] god I’m still alive. Came to shoot me in my own home and dropped your gun !! I’m out of commission for a few. Pray for me.”
In a later video, she showed followers bandages on her forehead and hands as well as images of her face with blood on her nose and lips. She didn’t share any details of who her attacker might be or why he came after her that night, saying only “I’m just happy to still be here.”
2. Influencer
Noelle lists her occupation as “Bartender” on her Instagram bio but she has nearly 400K followers so her social media and promotion game is strong. She often posts pictures of herself hosting events and talks about partnership deals she has with brands.
She’s also listed as participating in an upcoming movie called Life After Dark. The description on IMDb says “Life After Dark chronicles the journey of diverse individuals working in the highly popularized night entertainment industry.” Noelle appears under the name she uses on social media Redbone Noe.
3. Kenneth
Her relationship with Petty is a bit of a mystery. She doesn’t say much about it but there were rumors that he was living with her when he started hooking with Nicki Minaj. They had known each other in the past but Petty and the singer reconnected last year.
Noelle makes it clear that Kenneth isn’t the father of her daughter saying “Thanks for everyone concern and input. But imma make this clear, that is not my bd it was just an ex, his criminal background I did not put out there that’s not my place. i was hurt in the beginning cuz it happened so fast but if they are happy let them be happy s*** happens for a reason and I wish them the best. -Noe.”
4. Dark past
Whatever Kenneth’s relationship to Noelle, he has a dark past behind him. He was convicted of raping a teenager in 1995 and has been on the sex offender registry since then. He also did time for a manslaughter conviction in 2002.
His past doesn’t make Minaj fans feel comfortable with the couple. On one post about Kenneth, the rapper had to shut down comments to stop the criticism of his past.
5. Moving on
Kenneth and Noelle have been split for a while now and he’s deeply involved with Minaj, from all appearances. Minaj has explained on Twitter that they go way back, saying “..we were like this about each other since we were very young kids in the hood. He was on my body b4 the big ol’ ghetto booty. B4 the fame & fortune. Fought my bf cuz I wouldn’t be his girl. He was always a lil brazy. But anyway, timing is everything.”
And they have made a lot of references to marriage, with Minaj posting that Kenneth wanted to marry her and recently riling up fans when she called him her husband, saying: “Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought, and he massages my feet, and rubs them, and he rubs each toe individually, and the heel, and the ball of my foot, and he does it all.”
They aren’t officially married or engaged at this time, as far as we know.
