25 Sexy Halloween Costumes For Women Who Don't Want To Show It All

Sexy doesn't have to mean showing everything.

There’s a reason we loved dressing up as kids.

It gave us a chance to get away from reality and be the person we wished we could be: an astronaut, a ballerina, a princess, a fairy, a scientist or a superhero. It inspired you to be regal, smart, brave, strong and all things awesome!

The only issue is that one you get older, it becomes less acceptable for you to dress up just for fun, so we love it when we get an excuse to dress up.

But whether you're dressing up for Halloween, Purim (a Jewish holiday), or just a plain old costume party, it can be hard to find the perfect costume, especially if you’re a woman.

Because apparently, most of the costumes that are out there are the barely-covers-anything sexist versions that some man (most likely) decided is considered a sexy costume.

Why can’t we wear a nurse’s outfit that actually covers our boobs and butt? The last time I saw a nurse, I’m pretty sure she was mostly dressed but maybe that’s just me.

There is no reason why you can’t look sexy in a costume without having to look like you are in an issue of Playboy.

Whether it’s because of your religious beliefs, your personal preference, or you have a work function to attend, there are plenty of sexy yet modest costumes out there for you to choose from.

You can buy a ready-made one or you can do-it-yourself but either way, dressing modestly will not stop you from having the hottest costume ever!

Need some suggestions? Here are 25 Halloween costumes (or any other costume occasion really) that are both modest and totally sexy!
