I Tried Nipple Sticks To See How Kinky Boob-Clamping Sex REALLY Felt

You can also use them to clamp your labia.

My nipples are a very sensitive part of my body. Nipple play can either turn me on or immediately turn me off, depending on what they feel like doing that day.

They are totally in charge of whether I get pleasure from my partner playing with them or squeezing them, or whether I tell him to stay far away from them with his scratchy beard. Every so often, I get super-turned on and all I want is for him to pinch them. There ends up being a lot of “harder, harder... no, harder” on those days, as they are very rare and he knows to be cautious.

Because those days are rare, I was a bit worried about using nipple sticks. Nipple sticks are essentially nipple clamps, but in stick form. Imagine pinching your nipples between two chopsticks, except less food delivery and more sex.

People enjoy nipple play for different reasons, but often for the pleasurable pain aspect. The clamps cause pain by pinching the nipple and restricting blood flow. It can also cause a pleasurable/painful sensation when they are removed and blood flows back to your nipples. If you’ve ever enjoyed having your nipples squeezed or pinched, this could be for you.

Safety Considerations

Nipple clamps work by reducing blood flow to the nipples and can potentially be dangerous if you leave them on for too long. There is advice to use them for about 10 minutes or less the first time and gradually build up tolerance to them. Don’t just dive right in and clamp them for an hour; you’re going to seriously regret that. If ever your skin starts turning purple, you need to remove the clamps or sticks immediately.

Thankfully, these are designed for beginners! This means that they are adjustable. You can move the rubber bands to adjust the pressure and intensity of the clamping. The closer they are together, the greater the pressure and the more pain and blood flow reduction they will cause.

When you’re starting out, make sure you start with the elastics as far away from each other as possible. If you’re ready for more, you can always use the sticks on other parts of your body (think: labia clamp) because the elastics are adjustable. I’d suggest reading up on the safety of clamping other body parts prior to testing it out.

Nipple Sticks in Use

Using the nipple sticks was surprisingly easy and enjoyable. At first, we made sure they were on the lightest setting by rolling the elastics to the very ends. I was pleasant how little pain they caused. It was actually very subtle at the start and built up over time, until I felt like I needed to remove them.

Just like they are easy to put on, they are easy to take off, which keeps my mind at ease. There is no fumbling around if my nipples suddenly start to hurt. There is no interruption to our routine by including them or removing them.

I would say that missionary is not the best position, as it is the easiest position to have inadvertent chest contact that might be uncomfortable with the nipple sticks. Otherwise, we have no complaints.

We like the ability to change the pressure depending on how sensitive I am feeling that day. I really love how simple and unintimidating they are. We haven’t used them on the highest setting, but as a true toy tester, I’ve worn them around the house without any discomfort. Let’s just say that doing the dishes will never be the same.

Other Kink Craft Items

Kink Craft is known for their BDSM play kits, where you get to actually make your own flogger or handcuffs or other toy. They send you the necessary components, and you can watch their videos for instructions while you follow along.

The nipple clamps are not part of these kits because it wouldn’t be much fun to stick an elastic on the sticks and call it a day. You can check out their other kits, though, if this arts & crafts BDSM intrigues you.

Gender

A great thing about these sticks is that they are totally gender neutral! Actually, their whole site is gender neutral, which gets our highest approval.

Conclusion

I was initially scared about trying nipple sticks, but we found the Kink Craft nipple sticks to be a great addition to some of our playtime. We’re definitely not pros and need a lot more time before we use them on their highest-pressure setting, but they are perfect for our beginner status.

They are simple and unintimidating. They are easy to use and adjust the pressure as well as easy to remove. They are discreet if you leave them lying around by accident. They are gender-neutral and perfect for everyone to feel sexy wearing them.

We highly recommend using these sticks if you are new to nipple clamping and want to explore different sensations.
