When Once Upon A Time revealed its long-awaited and highly anticipated Queen Elsa to be Georgina Haig, there's one person we know wasn't happy about it: Instagram sensation and self-proclaimed Queen Elsa doppelganger Anna Faith Carlson, 18.
After buying some blue contact lenses, purple eyeshadow and an Elsa costume and cocking an eyebrow a certain way, Carlson decided she was the Frozen anti-heroine, even auditioning for the role on Once Upon A Time despite being much younger than who they were looking for.
A valuable lesson to be learned here: Makeup doesn't really change your identity, so instead of trying to be a real-life Disney princess, just be smart, work hard and embrace yourself. Isn't that what Queen Elsa did anyway?
Instagram model Anna Faith's thirst was real. After getting blue contact lenses, purple eyeshadow and braiding her hair, she was like ...
She seemed to think that Hollywood would just make a path for her to be Queen Elsa on "Once Upon A Time" just based on a series of selfies.
This probably got annoying to all of her friends, who were like, "Put your front-facing camera down and ...
After a while, Anna Faith's pals probably got tired of her ice queen persona.
Of course, there were other obstacles involved with auditioning for a highly-sought after role on a hit TV show like Once Upon A Time.
Like, for instance, going up against people who've worked at acting as a craft their whole lives instead of cultivating an online persona as a princess.
And competing with people who have actual resumes couldn't have been easy.
Plus, Anna Faith Carlson is only 18. Producers and casting directors wanted someone older.
These first world problems must be really and truly devastating.
But if Anna Faith Carlson really is anything like Queen Elsa, it shouldn't bug her too much.
