Lawsuit For McSteamy And Wife's Threesome Video?
Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart's naked threesome tape leads to leaks and lawsuits.
The world is buzzing about the sex tape exhibiting Hollywood spouses Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart. People.com says Twitter is blazing with comments, and sites promising to post the video (Gawker has an edited version) are full of visitors salivating for the goods.
This morning the two actors (he's best known as the McSteamy Dr. Mark Sloan on Grey's Anatomy, she was the Noxzema girl in the 1990s) appear to be responding through high-profile entertainment and media lawyer Marty Singer, who claims that despite the T&A and intimacy on display throughout the video, indeed there's no sex per se. He's calling it a "naked tape" (man, "sex tape" has such a cooler ring) and saying "at most it's 3 people wanting to have sex." According to Air America, Singer has reportedly announced that the couple plans to sue any sites that publish the video.
The threat makes sense, considering the two come off in a pretty unflattering light. They appear naked and stoned with former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Paniche, whose 2002 crown was confiscated after she appeared in Playboy. Sites like Gawker reveal that she's a Hollywood call girl and in the video as Dane, Gayheart and Paniche debate about what their porn names should be, McSteamy comments that he loves Paniche's working girl name Tristan Bailey. He throws about some of his own porn names, including Cocaine Manor after his first dog and the street he grew up on. Gayheart informs them she needs to lie down because she is "very high."
Dane, 36, and Gayheart, 38 are the same couple who recently told reporters that they are trying to start a family. Gawker claims that this is not Gayheart's first time being caught on film with drugs; a 2003 tabloid photo shows her naked in a tub holding a lighter and what appears to be a crack pipe. The photo was taken a year before she wed McSteamy...but evidently, marriage did not help her get straight.
