Morgan Freeman Having Affair With Granddaughter
A family source divulges the dark secret.
According to The National Enquirer, actor Morgan Freeman, 72, has been engaged in a decade-long affair with none other than his step-granddaughter. The 27-year-old woman, E'Dena Hines, is not related to him by blood, but is the granddaughter of his first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. Freeman and his second wife, Myrna Colley-Lee, helped raised Hines when she was little. Apparently Freeman originally came onto Hines after dinner and drinks when Freeman was feeling his alcohol. Hines then went straight to Colley-Lee and told her what happened. Colley-Lee confronted Freeman who promised it would never happen again. But according to sources, the decade long affair started shortly after the alcohol incident.
Not only did this not-really-incestuous affair come between Freeman and Colley-Lee, but the source—a "family insider"—told the publication it also led to a split between Freeman and his longtime mistress, former schoolteacher Mary Joyce Hays.
According to The Enquirer:
"Nobody thought anything of it, because she would be introduced as his 'granddaughter.'" The family insider divulged. "It's not technically incest, because they are not related by blood…[but] Morgan is trying desperately to keep his divorce out of open court so all the shameful facts won't become public."
Hines has been Freeman's escort to various public events, including the opening to The Dark Knight.
Normally, we'd be wondering if this was some strange mid-life crisis after Freeman's car crash last year. However, if this has been going on for more than a decade, it's obviously more than that.
Freeman earned critical acclaim for his roles in The Shawshank Redemption and Driving Miss Daisy and ultimately won an Academy Award for his role in Million Dollar Baby. He also appeared in such movies as Deep Impact, Seven, and Bruce Almighty and Even Almighty, playing God in the latter two.

Assuming the National Enquirer is correct, it's incest. Whether or not they're related by blood isn't important. He was helped raise her which makes it really gross. She was a minor when he started, which would make it abuse. It's even possible that their relationship and how it started made it hard for her to get out of it when she was an adult.
There's no excuse for him IF it's true.
