  • About Me:
I married when I was 23 to a man who got me pregnant the year before. We waited until our daughter was a year old before we got hitched. We separated for the first time a year later. He was a bit obsessed, and I was needy so we ended up getting back together and having a second child two years later. He developed some emotional problems and suffice it to say, two months before what would have been our 15th wedding anniversary, I had him served with divorce papers at our marriage counselor's office. I have not been in contact with him since. As part of our divorce agreement we can only communicate via text message or email. As for me, I love my kids (16 and 12) my dog (a pocket beagle named Phoebe) and my life. I am a professional writer and work doing web content.

My Questions

What is a Blog?

A blog is a like a public journal. Any YourTango user can create a blog, which is a place to write about anything and everything related to relationships. Your posts will appear in the blogs section of your profile.

Why Should I Write One?

Write a blog because you have something to say, and YourTango wants to hear it. Write because you're in a relationship, falling in love, breaking up, getting married, dating or fighting. Write because you're ecstatic, lonely, surprised or scared. Write because you have a question, an answer, an opinion or a rant.

Need another reason? You could be featured on our homepage!

How Do I Create a Blog Entry?

Writing a blog is super easy. Just write something in the empty box. It can be as short or as long as you want. Include a catchy headline and description so people will want to read your post. Click "preview" to see what the post will look like before it goes up, and publish what you've written on the site. That's it!
