'The Flash' Actress Candice Patton Caught Creeping With Married Athlete JR Smith

Born Earl Joseph Smith in Freehold, NJ, JR Smith towers over the average person, standing at a whopping 6-foot-6. His physical presence is intimidating enough, but he's absolutely beastly on the basketball court, as well.
As the first-round draft pick, 18th overall, back in 2004, Smith started his career with the New Orleans Hornets. He also played for the Nuggets and the Knicks but, ultimately, his biggest career successes came as a result of his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, whom he helped to win an NBA Championship. However, on July 15, 2019, he was waived by the Cavaliers.
But he's now making headlines for allegedly stepping out on his wife. Let's look at what we know about Candice Patton, the woman he's rumored to be seeing "on the side."
1. Who is Candice Patton? She's a semi-established television actress.
Even though Candice Patton is, perhaps, best known for her role as Iris West in The Flash, she has had a bit of a television career prior to her time in the DCEU.
She starred as Chu 2.0 in Con Man, and as Tori on the popular BET series The Game. She reprised her role as Iris West on The Batwoman series, and previously played Iris West on Arrow, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
2. JR Smith has been married since 2016.
JR Smith married Jewel Harris in 2016, and they've been together since. The couple has three daughters together, and Smith has one child from a previous relationship.
3. JR Smith was rumored to be "hanging out" with Candice Patton for some time.
In October 2019, JR Smith and Candice Patton were "hanging out" at a Halloween party in LA. Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan (who plays Toni Topaz on the show) snapped them together at the party and shared the picture to her Instagram story.
She captioned the photo of them "hottest couple," which seemed to imply that the duo was more than friends.
4. A blind item surfaced about their relationship not long after the Halloween party.
When this blind item surfaced shortly after Halloween, fans of "the game" were speculating that it was about LeBron James and one of his rumored girlfriends.
However, after JR Smith started liking all of Candice Patton's photos on Instagram and was seen hanging out with her beloved dog, fans began to realize that the blind item was about Smith and Patton.
5. JR Smith's wife is making posts that some consider "shade" towards Candice Patton.
When word got out that JR Smith was "creeping" with Candice Patton, Smith's wife Jewel started making posts on Instagram that seemed to be "shading" Candice Patton. In one post, Jewel Smith talks about learning more from losing than from winning; in another, she talks about "passing failure" on the way to success.
That doesn't seem to be directly referring to the actress, but it definitely has caused some fans to wonder if Jewel Smith knows more than she's letting on.
6. JR Smith deleted several Instagram posts.
After word got out that JR Smith was allegedly being inappropriate with Candice Patton, he reportedly deleted several Instagram posts dating all the way back to 2017.
