getty Singer Adam Lambert blew audiences away when he first appeared on the scene. They weren't just knocked out by his killer vocals either — they couldn't get enough of all things Lambert. Yet, be that as it may, he's had a very rocky road when it comes to finding love. But it looks like that's all starting to change. Recently the singer opened up about his relationship with Javi Costa Polo, a virtually unknown aspiring model. What he's saying about the guy is super sweet, especially knowing how hard it's been for him to find a paramour to call his own. Here's what we know about Javi so far... Who is Javi Costa Polo?

While Adam Lambert is quick to discuss the highs and lows of dating life, he hasn't been in a relationship that's he spoken about publicly since 2014. Don't get it twisted, I'm not saying he was doing without, I'm just saying that for a while there, Lambert was itching to meet that special someone and it looks like it's finally happened. In an Instagram post, the singer proudly proclaimed "LUV U @javicostapolo.”
Fans, of course, went totally nuts. They couldn't keep themselves from commenting and celebrating the fact that Adam and Javi were finally official. Luckily for them, Lambert was quick to set the record straight: clearly, the duo has been an item for a little while now. He posted in reply to one comment: “Honey we have been official for months. [Instagram] isn’t the gatekeeper of our truth!”

Even if you aren't an Adam Lambert fan, it's been hard to ignore just how much his career has skyrocketed since his time on American Idol. In 2007, at the age of 37, he became the new lead singer of Queen, going on a worldwide tour that took four years to complete. Uh yeah, that will definitely put a damper on your love life. Thankfully, Adam was too excited about the gig to dwell on its hardships. In fact, Adam had such a blast with the band that a documentary was actually made about it! In The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story, Lambert opens up about the project: “I had a lot of help… Spike, who’s on keys, I kept looking at over and over again, like, ‘Am I supposed to come in here? How long is the guitar solo? Is it my turn?' What I love most about being a vocalist is the adrenaline – the thrill of something that can possibly go wrong… I like the danger in that.”
4. Love Hasn't Been Easy
Love hasn't been a thing that's come easily to someone like Adam, who is so focused on their career. While on KISS FM's The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the singer said, “Dating is a bit tricky when you’re moving around all the time I have to say…You can meet somebody great and then be like ok, I’m only here for three days I gotta go, it was a nice first date and goodbye…It’s tough.” Luckily, from the looks of it, Adam has finally made a lasting connection with someone who he is interested in exploring the future with. Connections like that can feel rare, particularly if you're someone who also happens to be super famous and super successful. Kudos to Adam for making that work.
5. Model Good Looks
As we've said before, there isn't a lot known about Javi. What we do know is that he's a model (or an aspiring one) and that at the age of 24, he is more than a decade younger than Lambert. But hey, my boyfriend's a decade older than me and we make it work. It sounds like Javi has career aspirations of his own, and that's a very good thing because it doesn't sound like Lambert plans on slowing down any time soon. In fact, he's just about ready to get to work on his next solo album, not exactly leaving him a lot of room for date nights.
