Who Is Ashley Bush's Husband? New Details About Julian LeFevre
Ashley Bush and Julian LeFevre exchanged wedding vows this past weekend in Texas.
Wedding bells were ringing once again for the Bush family. One of the 14 grandchildren of the late George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush tied the knot. Ashley Bush and Julian LeFevre exchanged wedding vows this past weekend in Texas. The couple married in a romantic outdoor ceremony at The Contemporary Austin-Laguna Gloria.
Ashley’s father is Neil Bush, brother of Jeb, Marvin, Dorothy and President George Bush. The bride's mother is Neil's ex-wife Sharon Bush, whom he divorced in 2003.
Not only did friends and family make the occasion so special, Ashley’s older sister Lauren Bush officiated the ceremony. Lauren, 34, founded the nonprofit FEED in 2007, an organization that raises money to fight hunger by selling socially and environmentally sustainable products. She and her husband, David, son of fashion designer Ralph Lauren, have two children, Max Walker and James.
Lauren Bush shared her joy for the couple by writing in an Instagram post. “Beyond joyful for my beautiful and loving sister Ash & her new hubby Jules!” she wrote. “It was an honor of a lifetime to get to officiate their ceremony yesterday. I love them to the moon and back, and wish them a very happy forever more.”
Ashley, 30, wore a lace white trumpet gown and matching veil while the groom, LeFevre, wore a traditional black tuxedo and bowtie.

1. They live in La La Land.
Ashley and Julian LeFevre live in Los Angeles, which makes the most sense since they share a love for filmmaking.
2. The president attended.
The 43rd President, George W. Bush, and wife Laura were in attendance, as were Jenna Bush Hager and twin sister Barbara. Lauren Bush and David Lauren; Sarahbeth and Pierce Bush; Amanda Hearst and fiancé Joachim Rønning; Kick Kennedy and Ken Howery; and “La La Land” director Damien Chazelle.
Barbara, 34, is a newlywed herself, having tied the knot to Craig Coyne in an intimate October 2018 wedding just weeks before her grandfather's passing. Barbara is the co-founder and president of public health-focused non-profit Global Health Corps while Craig is a screenwriter who has also appeared in films.
George H. W. Bush passed away November 30, 2018, but left behind a legacy. He raised five children with his wife of 73 years, Barbara Bush. As the head of the family, George H. W. Bush had a whopping 14 grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren.
3. Ashley and Julian seem to be private.
There isn’t much to tell about Ashley and Julian as they appear to be quite the private couple. Ashley’s Instagram profile is set to private, while it doesn’t appear that Julian has one at all. He has shared a couple of photos on Facebook but the images are taken from a distance.
4. He’s a filmmaker.
Ashley is a writer, director, and producer. Meanwhile, Lefevre is an aspiring filmmaker, and worked as a cameraman on Ashley’s 2017 short film, “Bad Girl.” Ashley graduated from USC’s film school and has pursued a career in the film industry. According to Ashley’s IMDb page, she's produced, directed, and written numerous shorts.
5. The couple appears to have fun together.
While the wedding was more traditional, the couple had some fun with their pre-wedding festivities on their wedding weekend. At the rehearsal dinner, guests were encouraged to wear "Vintage Western attire," and Page Six reported that multiple sheep "came in wearing Swiss bells and paraded around as guests dined."
Mother of the bride Sharon Bush explained that the woolly creatures were part of a dowry from Egyptian tycoon Fouad Said, who in years past had delivered a horse and a calf to the future bride’s suburban home in Houston.
They invited people to have fun at their wedding: “Come ready to dance! And eat and drink and be merry. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you.” They wrote on their wedding website.
Also, guests were invited to play a big game of "bubble soccer" as part of the weekend, along with some food truck fare. “Come out, enjoy the beautiful parks of Austin and play a game of Bubble Soccer. (its like sumo wrestling mixed with soccer) Julian is very excited about this! If you're interested, please let us know so we can make sure you have a proper bubble.”
6. They work together.
On their wedding registry, they included a number of typical home items as expected. But since the couple are both filmmakers, they also registered for a number of camera and lighting equipment: "We work together. We write together. We want to film together," they wrote on their bridal registry.
They also requested guest to contribute to their Honeymoon Fund. “Our first trip as a married couple! Off to India - hopefully we still love each other afterwards :0” they wrote.
