After 90210, Perry rose to fame, and just recently, a 90210 reboot was announced. Though a majority of the cast had signed on, including Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling, Perry and Shannen Doherty had yet to confirm if they would be be regulars in the series. According to sources, Perry’s role on Riverdale made it impossible for him to commit to a full-time role.

Following reports that he was hospitalized last week, former castmate Shannen Doherty posted on Instagram, remaining hopeful that he would recover.
