Commitment can be a super scary thing and believe it or not, not everyone out there is looking to be completely committed to someone else. Crazy right?
I remember when I first started dating — I knew people who got into some serious, adult-like relationships pretty quickly. My mom would comment how we were so young and dating should be fun and not too serious.
Fast forward jus a few short years and my parents are worried they’ll never see me married because I haven't been in a very committed relationship for a while now. Did I miss something? Which birthday passed that I was no longer young and supposed to be having fun?

My parents were engaged by 19 and pretty early on, it was clear I would not be following in their footsteps. But was that my fault? Is it because of the generation and dating culture I'm growing up in? Or, is it astrology's fault?
I have never been too concerned over my relationship status, I have time. Whatever is going to happen will happen and one day It'll be my turn. But maybe I don't have as much control over it as I originally thought. Maybe the stars alignment when I was born and my ultimate life horoscope makes me a commitment-phobe.
Some astrological signs were just not born for commitment.
Maybe we just want to have fun while we’re young and meet a bunch of new people, or maybe we only want to commit to the person we know we’re going to spend the rest of our lives with.
Whatever the reason, whether it's based in fear or control issues or whatever else, some people are just not serious relationship material.
You will definitely be upset if you fall for one of these signs, because chances are you’ll be disappointed in how fast your relationship gets going. But it’s who they are and you should know that before you get involved with them.

It’s them. So here they are. These are the signs that are afraid of commitment.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus knows there is plenty of time to settle down in the future, so why do it now? He's young and wants to enjoy as much freedom as he can before he is strapped down by a job and a family.
And no, it’s not because he wants to sleep around.
Believe it or not, he wants to be able to go out with his guy pals and not have to tell anyone what time he will be home at. He just feels like he can’t live this type of life while in a relationship.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo pays attention to the smallest details and is just incredibly hard to please. He always seems to find something wrong with whoever he is seeing.
Virgo's friends and family think he is purposefully self-destructing relationships, but in reality, he just can’t help it. He's just waiting for the one who will check off all of his boxes and he will be set.
And he has a LOT of boxes. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Ironically, Libra is the sign who hates being alone the most. He really is setting out to find someone to share his life with but because he is so serious about it, he is not going to commit to just anyone.
He wants to be 100% confident the person he is seeing. He wants to feel well balanced with them and supported by them. He is in it for the long haul.
So he's not about to jump in to something he's not totally ready for. God forbid he get with the wrong person? He couldn't handle it.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius just can't be held down, period. Maybe that means being held down in one place, or maybe it means being held down by one person.
The second he begins to feel trapped he is going to run.
Full-on commitment is just not his thing right now, and he is looking for someone who understands that about him. Probably another Sagittarius who feels the same way as him and who can travel the world and be spontaneous right alongside him.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces wants to be in a relationship but, boy is he hard to please. He has such high expectations of others and of what his relationship should look like that reality often falls short.
So while he wants to be in a relationship, he is going hold out on commitment until he has found the one he knows will give him what he wants.
